    o_o Aristes: To be fair, I made an elven fighter with the first pre-set face and he (and his colleagues) are the most normal looking (read: not gay parade expy) elven fighters I've yet seen.

    John Wagner's Aliens: Berserker? If it's the one I think it is, then ya, it was good, though you had to read a novel to get the whole story. There were a lot of good Alien comics btw.

    The pets can get annoying in tight spaces, but otherwise I found them useful.

    IIRC you don't get XP for killing the thugs in the pearl nor for scaring them away. Maybe when you turn the quest in (didn't check that), but not immediately.
