  1. Playing the BG saga in between STALKER (or the other around actually - I hate those damn dogs). Soo.. BG 2 has the "canon" party at the start, but do they still count as canon if I import my character from BG 1? Are returning characters treated (at least when you meet them anew or something) if you had them with you in BG 1? Also, I downloaded some mods for good measure: Tutu (loads BG 1 with the BG 2 engine), Oversight, BG 2 Fixpack, Turnabout, BG 1 Unfinished business (does anyone know if this works together with Tutu?), Redemption and Ascension. Any other ones I should look up? Interested mainly in bug and conversation fixes (there's supposed to be a bug which keeps a load of Imoen conversations from triggering, apparently fixed by Ascension) and content restoration.
  2. Wasteland? That old bag of bones? Enter the 21st century TYVM!!! Yar seriously. (Goes back to playing an "antiquated" game of chess.) Fallout Chess Game. I could imagine myself playing that.Mmmmmm.. Damn, I'm really starting to like the idea.
  3. http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/317...vy_league/print Interesting (and quite long) read. Enjoy.
  4. Animal races are a product of their environment too. Snow foxes don't have white fur out of a fashion sense.
  5. Well, my fun little tech savvy infiltrator got turned into a generic rogue. I picked infiltrator especially because it wasn't a rogue. *sigh*
  6. Yeah, but that's like screwing the whole party over. And I don't give XP per encounter. I stack them up per session, if they add up, I just reward them with a level. The whole point was making the fight challenging. So much for that ... Well, there's always the option to ask him to stop doing it.
  7. I think the better example is how many gamers tried to play Deus Ex non-lethally, even though the in-game feedback on your killing/sparing enemies disappeared once you were through the first 2 or 3 levels. I pondered about presenting this parallel, but I didn't spare the MJ12 troops, so giving this example would've been kinda hypocritical.
  8. No, you get them from 10 year olds instead.
  9. If. If at the end of a mission you ally with the guy who's place you've been infiltrating, he'll be happier to that his men are alive. Also, some of us don't want to necessarily kill anyone in sight.Did the epilogue slide show matter at the end of Fallout? Nope. Did it make people happier? You bet.
  10. How approriate, you fight like a cow. You can't deliver a proper insult. 20 funniest cakes of all time.
  11. Only when there's fun to be had and a lot of writing not to be had. Besides, your provocation is easy to turn around. Unbreakable phone breaks.
  12. Don't give him xp, there's not much to learn from watching things drown.
  13. You were provoking me. Best Fails of 2009
  14. You started the jealous insults.
  15. Says the guy who draws waves on top of O-s.
  16. Swiss army knife disagrees?
  17. I was just too lazy to translate it.
  18. Might as well ask the guy why he made that basic and egregious mistake to not save for an hour (or switch auto saves on?).
  19. TNO's face is funny. Morte's too.
  20. SPORK? What's a SPORK?
  21. He doesn't say what he wants to, the fans don't "allow" him to like a game, it's a big no-no. If the fandumb manifests as mailbox spam or harassment from the boss, I've no idea. Have you seen the way he treats his fans? Yeah, the same fans who don't get the clue ("he means "I hate my fans!" in an affectionate way!") and pestered him to review Modern Warfare til he caved and did it.
