Ammuniton rarity, otoh, will always be a balancing factor, since no matter how powerful the weapon, without ammo, it's just a club or a walking stick. That's my only point really. That actual game balance for powerful weapons is more dependent on availability of ammo than the availability of the weapon itself. That's what Josh said too.

In the earlier Saudi Arabia walkthrough you could see the player (Matt Hickman?) change ammo to subsonic, so.. Dunno how so many people managed to miss it (there were a lot of complaints about this on Gametrailers too).

When I first played FO 2, I figured I won't get an energy weapon immediately thrown at me (didn't keep me from tagging it anyway ). I mean seriously, energy weapons. Little Uzi vs plasma gun, of course you don't get it at the start. Or they give you one with little ammo, then it would've been useless, weighting you down for IRL days because it's too awesome to sell.

Part of me was hoping they'll say that NPCs react to the lumberjack beard. Tha Mass Effect 2 guy wasn't included.

Watching the PAX presentation, I had a thought: Will a strand of Matt( McLean)'s beard be included in the CE?

They're movie villain wannabes (emphasis on movie), not simulations of real terrorists. Sure, realism doesn't hurt, but it's not like this game is a Tom Clancy novel (those aren't super realistic either, but you get my drift). Botom line, I don't mind either way.
