  1. Those last songs you've posted seem more fitting for Dragon Age.
  2. Here's the real story: Link
  3. I don't get this. Are the women clairvoyant?
  4. It's hard to find your way around them rooftops when you're being chased by 10+ SWAT agents & shot by a helicopter. I always ran into a dead end at one point leading to a reload - finally stopped playing at the beginning of chapter 8, couldn't get past the enemies in the beginning. One of the more frustrating games of the recent years - I probably died more than a hundred times just trying to jump on a passing train. Good fun!
  5. Actually, he solved most problems with the old-fashioned brawl:
  6. A Star Trek RPG similar to Mass Effect could easily be made. There's enough races that could be used as antagonists threatening the known galaxy -- the Borg, Tholian Assembly, Breen but most interesting would be Species 8472. The player character could be some 'veteran' or 'newbie' Starfleet officer sent off in a ship travelling around several planets looking for allies & clues on how to fight the 'evil'. Just PLEASE not another gundam Picard fanservice fest. Captain Picard.
  7. Problem is probably your laptop having onboard graphics..

  9. Beats me. There is an entry in the Codex that states that all genetic diseases were a thing of the past due to genetic manipulation in the womb. Maybe Joker's parents were a bit conservative.
  10. Considering his brittle bone disease, I guess what he needed was the occasional slap on the shoulder.
  11. Seemed like all NPCs, even the Krogan, had a sad sob-story. Taking this into regard, it's surprising there were so few romance options.
  12. That makes me wonder... was there an influx of Star Wars fanboys on this board or BioWare boards when the KOTORs were in development?
  13. I'd prefer something more alike to Deep Space: Nine. Getting thrown on some remote planet/space station and dealing with pretty much everything ranging from political intrigue, over-sexed Betazoids to an alien threat from an unknown part of the galaxy for instance the obscure Tholian Assembly or the Breen.
  14. As much as I like Star Trek, I'd prefer a Dune RPG.
  15. What do you mean? You don't like point & click? Anyway, as highly regarded as TLJ is, Broken Sword 1 > TLJ in every aspect.
  16. It's perhaps for the best that Bethesda's writing is horrible, otherwise BioWare might have been put out of business long ago. That said, Michael Kirkbride was a good Bethesda writer. He cooked up a large amount of lore and wrote a lot of in-game books. Same goes for Julian LeFay, who practically invented the Elder Scrolls. EDIT: And indeed, TLJ was great. It's practically the Planescape: Torment of adventure games.
  17. They speak French(among other languages) there and eat croissants, no? I thought the entire country is bilingual. Like Belgium, with the difference that it actually works.
  18. "Respect" comes from Latin verb "respicere" meaning literally "looking up".
  19. Screen fading to black, followed by a short cutscene of a rocket taking off?
  20. Smugglers would most likely work for any side... and sell to the highest bidder. Can't really imagine "light side"/"dark side" having any meaning for non-Force sensitives anyway.
  21. Seems to be entirely depending on the number of immigrants absorbed..
  22. I bet Bethesda is probably behind global warming too.
  23. Isn't quality of writing & voice acting what BioWare is famous for, rather than interesting game world & gameplay? There has never been much else in their games. In their trailers/previews they always show off their deep storylines & depth of character choices. I haven't seen any information about the game world itself... they could learn from Bethesda when it comes to building a highly detailed game world with in-depth lore.
  24. It's always funny that underwear magically appears when one takes off a raider's skimpy outfit. Bloody Mess = bring it on! Nudity = aw hecks no!
  25. A surprising amount of Cannibal Corpse songs seem to be applicable, e.g. "Gutted, "Rancid Amputation", "Dead Human Collection", "Unleashing the Bloodthirsty", "Hammer Smashed Face", so on and such like.
