  1. Last time a DC hero killed someone, was Wonder Woman in Infinite Crisis. She got spit out by Batman & Superman after that. In Marvel universe... probably Thor killing the Sentry.
  2. Comic-book Batman hasn't killed anyone since the 50s.
  3. Or Black & White and Dungeon Keeper.
  4. It seems imperative for a Explosives character to go to the Boomers early and grab some of those grenade guns. Most fun I had with explosives was reverse-pickpocketing 20 C-40 on Caesar and blowing him to the moon.
  5. I got suckerpunched by Sucker Punch.
  6. Some say these "UFOs" were in reality prototypes built based on revolutionary Nazi designs found in Peenem
  7. Looks like a grimdark Pirates of the Caribbean.
  8. Batman doesn't kill.
  9. Please tell me that's shopped.
  10. It doesn't even beat the combat in the NES versions.
  11. In Summoner 2, the main character is a Queen + incarnation of a goddess. In the Witcher, Geralt is a living legend even though he remembers nothing of his past deeds. In the HoMM series, all heroes are pretty important figures for their respective factions.
  12. There are actually plans for Syberia 3, but Sokal doesn't want to get started until he gets lots of moolah to make it in 3D.
  13. The question is how challenging Witcher combat should be, considering witchers are supposed to have superhuman abilities. Random mooks (both human and monster) shouldn't pose a problem even in great numbers. I compare it to combat in Arkham Asylum. It is also pretty much a QTE event, but as long as it's fun who cares?
  14. Somebody please spoil Overlord for me.
  15. First time I popped De Vries' extract was a bit surprising.
  16. Gaider can't get laid IRL so what do you expect? He's a writer, somehow he has to express his frustration. Codex is that way, son.
  17. Anachronox, Beyond good & evil, System Shock 2, No one lives forever and a couple of characters from turn-based/real-time strategy games perhaps. That's about it.
  18. Arya is spot on. Sean Bean put on his Boromir guise again. Rest is meh. I'll still watch it in 2 years when the show will pop up in this here parts.
  19. In the adventure genre, it's hard not to find a game without a worthwhile female role.
  20. In ME1 it wasn't really "aiming" with the sniper rifle, but rather "overcoming Parkinson's disease".
  21. I'm at the end of Chapter 2 in TW1.
  22. Best adventure since... probably Syberia 2.
