  1. Anniversary is the best Tomb Raider from Crystal Dynamics by far.
  2. The huge fat things at the end come straight from Doom 2.
  3. Some locations always have high level enemies as well, regardless of character level.
  4. It sounded to me like a hamfisted reason for why Tali was messing around in Geth space. I doubt whether it will be ever further explored, let alone explained.
  5. There's a webcomic that ties Arrival and ME3 together, I can google it for you when I'm back home. But I can see why they chose to start in medias res, the explanation might come up when talking with Vega/in the codex later on. http://masseffect.wi...ect:_Conviction Sounds pretty lame.
  6. Frederik Pohl's Gateway has a similar story as well, and that's a game from 1992.
  7. The "dragon" is ridiculously easy, yeah. But as you level up, they should go dragon -> frost dragon -> blood dragon -> elder dragon -> ancient dragon.
  8. I doubt whether any "lore" ME1 established even matters anymore.
  9. I don't think they hit the same area every time, it's mentioned in ME1 codex that less than 1% of the galaxy is explored. They just sprinkled the entire galaxy with mass relays in every star system with planets suitable for organic life, so that an eventual spacefaring race would find the technology, use it and eventually end up at the Citadel.
  10. Hopefully with the smaller scope of DLCs, they can add some quests with actual depth.
  11. At least Britain will always have South Georgia. EDIT: oh wait, apparantly the Argentines took it too in '82 before getting their asses handed to them
  12. ME3 should end like Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Choose which button to press to end the game. Press A to destroy Reapers, press B to control Reapers, press C to join Reapers.
  13. I didn't know Citizen Kane was still regarded as some kind of paragon of film making.
  14. They shouldn't have made the Reapers that powerful to begin with. Sovereign soloed the entire Citadel Fleet in ME1, and was only destroyed because he turned into an evil Kermit the Frog. Now there's hundreds of Reapers in the galaxy, they could easily take the entire galaxy by sending one each to each star system. If they weren't severely powered down, that is. Then again, one should wonder why the Reapers bother anyway. The Protheans had a galaxy spanning highly advanced civilization that unlocked the mystery behind the mass relay technology, humanity/asari/salarians/etc. are nothing in comparison. Yet humanity gets handpicked because Shepard is so awesome.
  15. They are not just machines, though, they're more a hybrid of organics and machine. They've been harvesting organic life for millions of years like the Borg from Star Trek (the first harvested race probably the one that created them in the first place). With the knowledge of all these highly advanced civilizations they wiped out (compared to which humanity are just a bunch of hicks in comparison) one'd expect them to be have several contingency plans available if plan A, B or C backfires. For instance, since the Reapers originally built the mass relays, wouldn't they be able to shut them all down if necessary, winning immediately? Yet they attack Earth directly and come off as simply attacking Earth because they have a grudge against Shepard.
  16. So that's how games get leaked nowadays.
  17. At least Max won't be brooding anymore and just focus on killing bad guys. Welcome to 2012.
  18. Amazing it takes 3 parts to analyze ME2's "plot".
  19. The slow blade penetrates the shield.
  20. Strange how they can't just copy animations from ME1, rather than somehow making them worse in folluw-up games. Not to mention, apparently holstering weapons is impossible too in ME3. I don't get it.
  21. In the case of Samara, it's not for lack of trying Unfortunately being Renegade is a bit of a heartbreaker. "You are a good friend Shepard and I like you, but I will kill you." Damn space paladins.
  22. Use uesp.net/wiki, it's a way better site.
  23. Of the new party members in ME2, I liked only Legion and Mordin. All the rest could've been nuked on Virmire for all I care. Miranda was highly useful in combat, but her character fell apart completely when her ice queen fa
