Animations are pretty terrible, they're right up there with Oblivion's. Combat is kinda trivial. Most enemies are unprotected and my soldier can spam Concussive shot over and over again when I just carry an assault rifle, while Liara can spam Singularity.

Not to mention Beyond good & evil 2. If they do finish it at one time (they're probably waiting for next gen consoles), they'll be back to my list of favourite developers.

I agree in general, but then there is the Sentinel class. The Sentinel with maxed Tech armour can run up to every group of enemies and melee them to death. Even Krogan. It's like playing a Vanguard without all the ADD that comes with it. A soldier with Fortification and maxed concussive shot is almost the same.

So I spoiled myself into watching Tali's face and now I'm somewhat regretting having banged Miranda instead in ME2. Choices and consequences, I guess.

Well, at least ME1 had a plot. ME2 had much better side missions, though. Combat wise, I'm a bit torn. I slightly prefer ME1; at least you can finish combat very quickly in that one, while in ME2 you'll always be reduced to playing whack-a-mole behind cover no matter how powerful Shepard is supposed to be. Companions wise, ME1 had Wrex... ME2 had Mordin and Legion. So ME2 wins in that regard.

They should've taken another 10 years, then the game could be about as good as Duke Nukem Forever.

I've read about the endings on Bioboards, and if they're actually true, my Chaotic Stupid playthrough is going to be immensely satisfying. I tip my hat to BioWare for showing some guts.
