  1. So in prologue you see somebody taking your son, after that you get frozen again. But who's to say when you wake up that didn't happen like 100 years ago and maybe your son is already dead? Seems a huge plothole (not that I care about plot).
  2. They are quite annoying. I did that quest with the Minutemen where you are supposed to clean up a fortress. Good lord, there were a crap-ton of those things which are hard to kill and then suddenly one of those legendary Mirelurks shows up and while I am running away from the damn thing an even bigger Mirelurk(The Mirelurk Queen) shows up and starts hitting me with some sort of corrosive thing from the distance which drains my health and kills me with 2 hits! Gotta try taking that fortress with the Power Armor and the Minigun equipped later. The poor Minutemen are still waiting for me near the fortress! Haven't found anything yet that raises poison resistance. Bloodbugs are annoying as well. Though I think the entire North east corner is a more high level area.
  3. Power armour greatly boosts your strength so it's no problem.
  4. Prestooooooooooon don't tell me he's romancable
  5. Are Mirelurk hunters supposed to be this tough? Met one with a skull next to its name, had to use the Fat man to take it out. There's also an odd place inhabited by robots, if you fail charisma checks and piss off the leader he attacks. I couldn't even put a dent in his HP bar with my best weapon.
  6. Raiders/mutants endlessly spamming molotovs/grenades with pinpoint accuracy are getting on my nerves. Hilarious if you return to them in power armour and swat them like flies. Well, as long as you don't leave your intended level zone.
  7. The storyline just doesn't work for an open-world game. Bethesda again completely fails to instill a sense of urgency, even worse than Failout 3 since it's even more family oriented. My son got kidnapped? lol just let me waste some months building settlements first and then I'll look for him. Even Two Worlds 1/2 handled this kind of storyline much better.
  8. You just need to transfer your junk to a workbench and it will be automatically used. You can only scrap weapons.
  9. The two I found were locked in a train compartment of sorts that needed a terminal to hack. EDIT: and without a "fusion core" they cannot be operated anyway.
  10. got my 3rd suit of power armour Wolfgang's last words
  11. My guns can one-shot everything in the north-west corner of the map, but straying a bit too far from that even a bloatfly takes five shots to kill. Also, what's up with super mutants' grenade barrage and suicide bombing? Luckily Dogmeat can tank everything.
  12. Getting over 60 fps in Gamebryo is usually a very bad idea.
  13. I guess there are no unique weapons like New Vegas/FO3 and all weapons aside from big guns are this jury-rigged stuff?
  14. Controls seem bugged too with workshop enabled. I can't even move forward properly.
  15. So in VATS you can execute critical on demand, but it seems random criticals still happen too? At least that's my impression.
  16. I think all dialogue checks are charisma. Armour/weapon crafting is fun, but house/settlement building seems a boring waste of time.
  17. Diamond City Radio dj is insufferable. Luckily there's a classical radio.
  18. The crafting is addictive as hell.
  19. Got oneshotted by a protectron. Seems I need to follow the main quest.
  20. So at level 1 I can't even sneak attack a bloatfly to death. Though easily snuffed a group of raiders.
  21. http://orcz.com/Fallout_4:_Perk_Chart 8 strength gives you access to Basher (more melee damage with guns). Seems not very well thought out. There are melee attachments to rifles and such but wouldn't a melee character just use a melee weapon? High level gun character might eventually get 8 strength though.
  22. I guess it's best to start with a balanced SPECIAL rather than min-max? Didn't expect to get only 21 points to distribute.
  23. Look for fGamma in Fallout4.ini should be there if it's the same as Skyrim.
