What are you reading?
I don't know if someone on here mentioned it previously but I'm reading Mark Bowden's Killing Pablo. Might have been Wals or Agiel. As someone who isn't really up on Central American politics, it's pretty cool.

Diablo 3 new patch
Totally agree. It feels like we've been playing Beta and they've finally gone back and finished the game. Comparing Paragon to how it was to now are just two totally different systems. I've gone from booting up D3, looking at it and thinking 'ugh, no thanks' and closing it, to running home from school like a little kid and wanting to play it. Or in my case, wanting to get home from work and wanting to play it. Well done Blizzard, I would never have thought they could change the way I thought of D3. QFT And a lesson for Young Turk game designers who take too many liberties with tried-and-tested formats. It's taken, what, almost two years to get to this point? If they'd listened to their forums this would have been the game they'd originally released. Edit - I like it so much I've started a new monk on easy to play the whole thing again with non-AH items and kit, just to enjoy the difference. My old monk was on the US server, unfortunately.

Gfted the paragon point reallocation is kinda fun, lets you build whatever type of guy you want. For example, with my barbarian (only Paragon 11) I am building up his speed, gold find, resistances and strength. Already when fighting mobs (which is waaaay more fun now) I'm noticing how my stacked resistances make me more survivable. For me it's more fun because of - Loot 2.0 New scalable difficulty inside of five broader difficulty levels New modes More / tougher / varied bosses Optimization. Add the new RoS content and I'm pretty happy. I'm going to be on the European server though, the lack of an international one sucks.- Diablo 3 new patch
No Crusaders until the XP in March. I echo the comments above... the new team have made it more, well, Diablo. Combat is much more fun now, and I liked the way you can customise your toon using Paragon points. The drops are more intuitive and the optimization makes it feel much purdier. Bravo! And behold, StuG the barbarian!- Diablo 3 new patch

This is a blatant subversion of 'what are you reading now?' I demand redress, dammit. Redress and satisfaction, sir. Take your cheesy space opera! And bring a second. And a gun.- Diablo 3 new patch

So the new D3 patch with some free, early 'Reaper of Souls' content / changes is currently downloading. This patch is the size of the internet (OK, it's 11.74 GB on top of a whole load of other stuff that Blizzard swamped my puter with). Anyhoo glancing at the patch notes it appears you can make your own group / guilds etc. I know there are some fellow ARPG fans here, in fact some of you are my current D3 friends and I have some of your loot which I put on the auction house might have lost. So who is up for a new guild / group using this feature? I'll be playing on both PS4 (with MC Junior) and on PC depending too.- No romances confirmed
Good for you. I feel similarly about the exclusion of a 'fruit ninja' style minigame. I like those. They make me feel fuzzy and I sorta hoped they might put one in. And here's Jack Nicholson with a piece of fruit.- Introduction to Sawyerism - What J.E. Sawyer likes in RPGs
Oh yes they have. E. Gary Gygax does so, at length, in the 1E AD&D Dungeon Master's Guide (or, as we call it in my house, The Tome Eternal).- What are you playing now
My son wanted Terraria. I made him pay for it out of his pocket money. Damn it's good!
