  1. It was said to be no.
  2. Metacritic gets a lot of flak for being the major review aggregator, and they certainly took a lot of stupid choices in the past, but I very much doubt they're bribing the publishers to be referenced in contracts (and be sure, as the situation is, if the Metacritic was shut down they'd use another aggregator) nor it's their faults that the gaming journalism is as it is. Well, they pretty much support this with their crappy nonsensical system. What worth is it to know the average rating of a game if the used reviews are bullshizzle anyway.
  3. Witcher 2 is pretty much an action-adventure only. But as the rpg genere is so damn blurry nowadays, most folks do not notice it anyway. I cannot rage about it anymore, I am all outa rage about this. So I just live with it and don't complain that Witcher 2 isn't enough rpg.
  4. I'll guess for an announcement of some kind in the next week. Else I think the DLC can only come very late at the end of the month (28.06.?). And if we don't get an announcement in the next 1 1/2 weeks, I really doubt that it will be released this month at all. :>
  5. I wonder how long that mission is. Plus, I find it a bit annoying that an extra mission (even if it was cut out of the game before) is reintegrated as a preorder bonus only.
  6. We need moar room in here because of all that big ego.
  7. But does that character feature romances?
  8. It's a wonder he is still alive anyway.
  9. Makes sense, else it's 50:50.
  10. That's the problem, imo. While I agree that the controls aren't as efficient as it could be (on pc), you can get into it nontheless if you play it a bit longer than only 10 minutes and *try* to get it. I didn't liked the controls first as well, but now I've got used to it and it's actually pretty easy, even though I'd like to change some hotkeys.
  11. I still think that 1999 vegas trailer was the best and they should have just released that instead of the new one. So nope, didn't bought it (yet? Maybe if it gets cheaper one day).
  12. Wasn't it said that if you play in coop and a new player jumps in, that he gets the same level as the others as well? Else it would result in having some higher level and a lower level player in the game, while the lower level one would have a clear disadvantage.
  13. If you believe in it very hard, everything is possible!
  14. Both aren't really known anymore for quality reviews, but if even they give the game such a good rating, it has to be better than average.
  15. BUT THE PC VERSION HAS COPYPROTECTION, DOESNT IT?? Oh wait, only console version got leaked. Nevermind then. :> By now I am really thinking about buying the game. Since I've got into the controls, it became much more fun... Even in singleplayer. Damn, reviews have to show up fast, so I can judge better.
  16. Damn, wanted to quote exactly the same right now.
  17. Loved Singularity. Would also love more of that. @ArmA2 free: Very nice idea to get more attention to the game. I am a bit sad about the ArmA3 announcement, as I find that not even ArmA2 was 100% "used up" yet.
  18. Well, current mainboards already have pretty good onboard soundcards. You just shouldn't buy a ****ty board. A soundcard is only really useful nowadays if you have a good sound system as well. Else the difference really is just marginal. I've kicked out my soundcard a few weeks ago when I've switched my mainboard. It solved lots of problems for me.
  19. I just know what I remember from DS1, which I played a lot years ago. It was a slow, boring, linear non-clickfest in which you only progress forward in the maps and never go back to some place.
  20. No. It had no sense of openness. Not at all, because you only moved forward in a corridor with strictly closed / walled paths. As far as I could see in some DS3 videos, there seem to be at least some parts of the game where you do not follow a straight corridor line. The MP world of DS1 was linear as well, with the difference of there being more hub locations with corridors in different directions.
  21. "Was Dungeon Siege 1 and 2 this linear? I can't remember." Yes, pretty much. I think there wasn't even any quest in DS1 (that I do remember). You just follow a long, linear path until you see the games credits screen.
  22. This, pretty much.
  23. Fast, this game needs moar pc copyprotection!
  24. Yeah, because it's so important.
