  1. Your list sucks, mine is better: Fallout Torment Arcanum /edit: And Monkey Island.
  2. I get the feeling you haven't read what I wrote? You can already see that info if you check the source (or, in Gmail's case you can simply choose the "the text of this mail is garbled" or a similarly worded option to see the text version). Well, just saw the first blue colored post in that thread when it was posted some hours ago. The order summary mail looks like always, so I assumed they send out some extra stuff and don't put it into the same mail. /Edit: Even if I take the link from the mail source, there seems to be some error.
  3. Was it some extra e-mail? Just got the normal gog buy mail and the paypal mail, nothing more. But well, if they resend it again tomorrow, it doesn't matter much anyway. The delay will not kill me.
  4. How does that free game stuff work? Didn't got any mail or other special stuff. Preload for me is approx 50% done already. Pretty fast.
  5. I didn't even know they have done it. What influenced this? Price? Violent games?
  6. Ew, guess I should use the downloader for it. 16gb will take some time, even for my internet connection. /Edit: GOG says 9,6gb for me and not 16gb. Also I wonder what language this now is. English? More than english? Because I don't need any language except english, huh.
  7. Have the same. But I notice this a lot only in the Mojave Wasteland. With the Dead Money worldspace it didn't crashed on area loading. Thanks to the fact that the game doesn't have any debug output, one can't even see why it's crashing at all.
  8. It's still better than vanilla Oblivion.
  9. I'll guess due to the DM endings. It's said that your companions couldn't find you anymore, waited at the well, etc. Though, I personally don't care, as I see no reason to go back to the Sierra Madre. That's why I now wonder if there will be "something to do" post-endgame of the dlcs or if their landscape will somehow change based on their endings. It really sucks to go back somewhere and nothing of your actions can be seen. Btw. I finished DM again yesterday and I noticed that I can't drag the gold bars anymore. Was this changed with the latest patch? If so, great! Drag-abusers shall die in pain. :> (They should learn what was to learn: To let go.)
  10. Looks really good. Somehow reminds me of the Gothic games.
  11. Related: I bought a new motherboard two days ago, which came today. Fiddled around with it, kicked my old one out and reinstalled all driver turf. Now FNV runs perfect, no sound stuttering, no bluescreens anymore, etc. DLCs can come now. :>
  12. After reading the stealth helicopter story, I somehow had to think about Deus Ex...
  13. If I remember correct, you need to download the last bit on release, just like everyone else. But if you download the game from GOG after release, you do not need to patch it to make it run.
  14. I was pretty sure it has been the blog (sub)title before. I can be wrong, though- You should know this better than me. :> Also now that you mention Oscar Wilde, I had to think about Olivia Wild, which made me think about doctor House again. The circle closes! In any case, beside all the cool and fancy stuff one can do while being unemployed, I find searching for jobs and sending out applications and all that other fuzz that has to be done for unemployment benefits to be totally annoying and I am really happy that it's done for me now. So I'll hope you (and all the others) are done with it in sooner future as well.
  15. Btw. does someone get the new Qore playstation magazine (03.05.)? It was said there will be some Old World Blues information in it.
  16. No doubt in it, due to the Fallout 3 hype. Also why did the blog title changed from homo-hero to wilde homo? Thought the first was better. Though, maybe a tad too self-exhilarating. :> And at the new blogpost: When I have been unemployed the last year, I finally got around to watch all the tv shows I ever wanted to see. Watched all episodes from House, all episodes from The Shield, all episodes from Dr. Who,... While working on some random modding shizzle every once in a while. Sometimes, I miss this. :>
  17. Maybe Lonesome Road will start after the player talked to House, so he is far enough into the main story to know what is going on.
  18. The skill points economy *is* ****ed up already. I am pretty sure that I will be able to max out the rest of my not-yet-100 skills with the next dlc, and even if not, the next one will do it then. I personally think it's not *that* worse now. We can't change it anyway and have to live with it. The real problem is that skill checks will be nullified due to this. After all, what worth are skillchecks, if you always win them.
  19. Yeh, but Dead Money got released in the evening, I think. I doubt it will be much different with the other DLCs, so I will have only a few hours to play until I need sleep again, which is bad. Very bad. :> Yeah! :> But on the other hand, I am happy they have done it, because I am not really happy with my mod. It somehow doesn't live up to the standard I try to hold. :> That's why I don't use any mod that adds new clothes. There just aren't many good ones and I will not add unfallouty heresy to my FNV. Heh, fancy enough that the game doesn't need a million mods to make it feel more like a Fallout game. :> Also MCA tweeting about DLCs:
  20. Wonder how many noobs will whine about Old World Blues being a Portal 2 ripoff. :> Tensed to see the dlcs and I am really happy they follow each other very close then. What I hate a lot is the 17th to be the date. Thats a tuesday once again and I need to go to bed pretty early, due to workday the next day... But I'll guess one can't have everything. :> /Edit: And the Lonesome Road dlc will most likely make my Ulysses clothes mod invalid, oh noe!
  21. I don't really think so, as it's possible to control the ai range of (town)npcs, as well as all other. So it's not like they would go rampage randomly into the wide world. And if it comes to enemies or other hostile stuff... well, easy solution: Don't place them near towns. :> And as quest npcs in Bethesda games are invulnerable anyway, I don't think it would influence any quests as well. About Morrowind... I don't know, maybe the Xbox was good enough to run it well or the game just didn't had that many npcs running around in the towns and not as much objects to render (though, it also had a limited sight range with fog in the distance, unlike Oblivion which had a LOD system for the distance instead).
  22. It's not impossible, but it will require more power to run smooth. The only reason why they are walled at all is the performance... See Fallout New Vegas' New Vegas. Even though the location is super small, they needed to place walls in between to split it up, else consoles would have died. Removing the turf on pc, I see no problems here. But well... console players. :>
  23. Yes, I see them sitting in their offices, thinking "damn, we don't want det derty money, eh!"
  24. Funny enough, it's the first time I really want to give Bethesda my money. But they don't want it. Hurr durr.
  25. I really hope we will get some news soon. Waiting for weeks now, it's really getting silly. Wasn't that Utah event last week? I thought they will release a new trailer after this, but I'll guess I was wrong.
