  1. This is the new shizzle? @Risen 2: Various new german previews are up already with quite a bit new information, as far as I could see. Stuff like you first have to gain trust with the pirates to get yer own ship, also you have to set up your own crew, the ship is used as your base (like the Normandy in ME). On land, you can take one of your companions with you, who then fights on your side and can interrupt dialogues between you and NPCs, etc.
  2. At least this is not true. Actually, a lot of the "hardcore Fallout fans" like FNV, because it's the best damn thing that could happen to the Fallout franchise by now.
  3. Game crashed for me too on startup. Had to restart Steam, then it worked.
  4. Hm, I didn't had a problem with the camera in combat. What I had a problem with was all that light effects and stuff, while I've lost track of my character. But that was close to the end with that second character following you, spawning fireballs and whatnot.
  5. Just finished the demo with both characters. I had and still have a hard time to get into the controls. It's totally different than other games of that type that I've played (which isn't a lot... Diablo 1+2, Sacred and Torchlight). The graphic is pretty good and the game runs super smooth, feels polished. I am a bit surprised about the pc port though... The interface is very consolish and there isn't even any way to configure the keys and such. The first time I've started up the game, I was hammering the I and C key to open up my inventory and character screen, but nothing happened. As there was nowhere a keylayout to be found in the game, I was pressing all keys one by one until I've found what I have been searching... That definitive needs some more love. To the characters... That sword-dude really isn't my type of character. The woman felt much better, though possible that her hoover-style and flaming hair looked just much better. I think I like the way the skill system and the abilities work. Would need to get used to it first, which mainly plays into the general controls once again... Needs to be learned first. What I also liked is the dialog and text stuff on bookshelves and such. That gave some background information and was nice to read. So... I really don't know if I should buy the game or not. I honestly don't know if I could ever play it very long in singleplayer. If at all, coop would be my only way, because else such type of games can bore me very fast (didn't even finished Torchlight. After I've entered the second town, I just stopped playing, even though the game wasn't that bad). But as I am at work most time of a day, it can become hard to find friends to play with... In any case, I'll guess I would only play that woman with the guns. :> /Edit: I've voted "Good, but needs some tweaking." while "tweaking" being the interface stuff on the pc version.
  6. Keep in mind that you will finish one game in around 4 hours. So if you want to buy them only for their singleplayer mode, it's around 8 hours playtime or so.
  7. Wiiboo?
  8. Looks more like they wanted to make an Inglorious Basterds game.
  9. So, when do we send freedom fighters to the Iran?
  10. Is Claudia Black the sci-fi queen by now?
  11. Yeah, saw that too. Now in dark clothes, with dark long hair. Wonder if she is still a racist.
  12. Bro, there aren't enough scripted events in my scripted events.
  13. I really don't know. Looks to me like Oblivion with more action and better graphics. Especially the dragon part sounds really horrible to me, if they really can appear everywhere every time and this not limited. I see it in front of me already, you walk through te gameworld and have to fight dragons every 10 minutes, because fighting dragons is cool.
  14. Is that footage already available somewhere? Didn't watched the live stream.
  15. You could as well teleport into the cell of your choice then.
  16. By reading this thread, guess I don't miss anything if I don't watch the stream?
  17. That looks pretty bad, imo. Not funny bad, but really bad.
  18. Everyone I know knows that it's bull**** to kick off all nuclear powerplants in germany. As far as I see it, the whole deal just happened because of the next coming elections and the media buzz around the turf in japan. Hell, before the accident in japan happened, nobody gave a **** about it. In fact, it was even stated that there will be no nuclear policy change for the next x years. So, for me it's all just a big media spectacle that will not be seriously followed anyway. /Edit: About left and right wing politics in germany: Everyone - except the right wing - knows that the folks from the right wing are stupid idiots. Just reading about their policical plans makes my brain explode.
  19. Damn, this looks really good. If I wouldn't find Morrowind so boring, I would reinstall it just to test the mod. But I find the game damn boring, so I will not. looks really nice. Though, I don't have Oblivion anymore, so I most likely will never try it out as well.
  20. yes, there are none. I think this is because voice recprding for caesar was done already at that point and no new lines could be recorded?
  21. This non-fun issue can be streamlined, so it will appeal to the masses much better.
  22. I will hate the day where games will be made with console, tablets and smartphones in mind, which then will be ported to the pc afterwards.
  23. Call of Battle Chess?
  24. Didn't he explained that the casino security system automatically took that stuff away from you? Don't really remember anymore. The only thing that I found annoying in Dead Money was all that running around through labyrinth-like corridors. *This* was driving me crazy, the speaker and stuff not really... Didn't had much problems with them and usualy came around them pretty smooth all the time.
  25. By the way, in the preview
