I really like to try the new Prey game, but somehow I can't be arsed to actually buy and play it for real. I dunno why that is. In general I like these kind of games (Deus Ex, Bloodlines, Dishonored, whatever), but somehow the trailers and stuff for Prey don't really speak to me.

The UI in the first video looks a lot like PoE.

Same but it may take a while before I stop referring to him as Castle He's still Mal to me. Fear the Walking dead is pretty good all of a sudden. I didn't really liked it up until close to the end of season 3, but the new episodes of season 4 are mostly top and made me feel things I haven't felt in the Walking Dead in years. Started rewatching season 1 of The Expanse. Damn I forgot so much about it already... which makes sense, since I actually did find the first two or three episodes to be kinda boring. I'm not having that problem right now, probably because I already know the characters and know who's important and who isn't really.

We have >30°C for over a week now. Remaining parts of germany are drowning in rain and thunderstorm, but nothing of that gets through to potsdam. Today is said to be 80% rain chance and 50% to the evening (two days ago they still said 100% for the whole day), but if I look outside... it's dry and hot again just now....

It pretty much tanked DOOM's modding scene in spite of the game providing you with decent modding tools from the getgo, so I'd hope Bethesda would have learned. ... Or, y'know, not. Honestly, I hope this happens here as well. The only reason why their games keep staying alive that long is because of mods on the pc. If they are gone, Bethsoft should finally be able to feel the impact.

They always argue about burkas when such a law is being talked about. Maybe not directly when it actually matters, but otherwise they do. It's plain as day and night that "in real" it's about masks in general.

Always expected such a law to go down that road, so it doesn't surprise me at all. Really, they punch it through with the argument of burkas, because people are scared of them, but really it's just to get everyone they want who's wearing a mask (which usually happens at demonstrations).

It's just not the same as I76. The setting, the characters, the cars, the music, etc... Carmageddon was good too, but again, completely different beast. I think it's owned by Activison, no? That means it'll be dead forever. I wonder if it's legally an option to make a very similar game and just give it a different name. VigilanteSomethingSomething or whatever.

It's funny, because the 76 reminded me instantly of it as well. It pisses me off so hard that we won't ever see a remake of that game. Really, I just want exactly Interstate '76 in a slightly more modern optic. Better quality models and textures, better sound effects, better particle effects. This would make me happy a lot. I'76 is the only car combat game I ever really liked. Nothing could top it for me, not even close.

Hah. You sure as hell won't be forgetting about it. In fact, we'll probably read about that crap at least twice every week now up until release. It'll be hell on earth.
