Yeah, great. Then you don't know where to go at all. The problem isn't that there is a minimap, but how the dotted line draws away all your attention from anything else.

Witcher 3 wasn't much better in that area, imo. No matter where you went, the eyes kept glued to the dots on the minimap. Probably would have been better to show transparent arrows in the game world instead of that minimap stuff... Honestly can't remember much from the environment because of that.

How long was the shutdown the last time? Also, will this happen every time now? How does America plan to prevent this from happening yet again? Was a weird night. I've dreamed that I have a ferret. The ferret was all energetic and stuff. Peed on the floor, too, which made me go crazy, because I didn't know how to deal with it, because I actually didn't want a ferret. The ferret was just there and then it was mine and I had to deal with it. Madness. Now I kinda want a ferret.

Not really playing anything today. Trying to write dialog the whole day already for my current project, but I am so damn slow. Started about 9 hours ago and managed a fancy 40 lines. :/

I'm looping Joanna Newsom's "Have One on Me" album since a couple days. It's so damn good, but also so very long... can't just casually listen to it, with a playtime of over 2 hours.

What exactly does it do? I'm too lazy to read up on that wall of text.

Uhm, isn't that possible already for a long time now? It's nothing fancy anyway. You can only edit items and stuff like that. It's why I loath the Unity engine. It's not very mod friendly if you want to go deeper than that.

Still doing good in Hollow Knight. Seems the game world opened up some more now, which makes me feel a bit oberwhelmed. First I didn't know where to go next because I couldn't find the next entrance.. and now I just don'tknow where to go next, because there are so many.

Hollow Knight is beginning to grow on me. Nice visuals, great music. It's like Dark Souls, but not a 1:1 ripoff. Just curious if it's possible to change your characters look over the time.

Can you really play with that big thing?

I do not agree with all of the clothing choices and face changes, but the visual quality is ace.

Yeah, but 60fps and online function isn't worth the 40€, imo, and I don't believe they believe it is worth it. On the other hand, apparently they aren't upgrading the game to the DS3 engine and I've heard rumors about them not changing how combat works, etc... That makes me extremely skeptical now.

This stuff is a joke anyway. Remember when Fallout 3 won an award for best writing. lel.

Welp, actually it was now said there won't be a price drop for owners of DS1 on pc. We don't know yet what exactly changes other than support for 60fps and maybe new graphics. I guess they will adapt the controls of DS3 as well, and maybe improve animations. IMO it needs some more changes than just that to justify the 40€ price tag.

Apparently if you already own Dark Souls 1 on PC, you'll get the remastered version for 20€ instead of 40€.

40€ holy bananas. That game needs plenty improvements to justify that price tag, imo.

I am very torn about STD. On the one hand I find it to be complete garbage, on the other hand I keep watching that garbage.

Why would it be? The games have plenty characters that are older. The age restriction is due to story reasons.
