You don't get notifications if you are offline. I don't mind the notifications when I mark myself as online, though. With the new version I'll have to choose.

I'm looking forward to 30°C in the office today. Gotta prepare for feeling like crap for the rest of the day then... wondering if I should take some of them cooling pads with me and just slap them on my head once I can't bear it anymore.

Apparently I can't sign out of the friendslist anymore. Now I'll have to go invisible... and in the options I have to disable that I get notifications for whenever anyone starts a game. This is annoying.

Yeh, as cool as Dishonored is, I feel like the story has been told for now.

Don't think I have enjoyed a Blizzard game for real since Diablo 2. Played once through D3 when it was released, but more due to hype than any real interest. Haven't touched it ever since. They just don't make the games anymore that I am interested in. Oh yeah, and their writing is complete garbage nowadays as well.

SyFy is always doing the same thing, so much, it's pretty much a cliche now. "Strong" female lead, sexy male sidekick(s) (either smart ones or tough ones), diverse cast, etc. It's like that in every single SyFy show I've seen.

I just learned that the Tremors reboot / tv show with Kevin Bacon won't be happening. God, does anyone at SyFy actually know what they are doing?

I agree with the court decision. Unless one or two years ago, you can now already play the game and you don't have to pay 1000 dollars for that to happen. If it's a good game or a bad game at this stage is a completely different thing, though. If people still feel the need to give them thousands of dollars, well, it's up to them, but they can't really complain anymore, imo.

Weather conditions still so far away, what a shame. With modding support and some other tweaks, one might as well be able to recreate a new Jagged Alliance game. That would be cool.

And people still vote for this douche waffle.

There's going to be something in the future. Either Last of Us 2 or Red Dead 2. Well, at least I'm going to buy new hardware for these titles. Though, I'd rather take the xbrick because of the gamepad, tbh.

Commandos: Desperados: Shadow Tactics: The graphic style of Shadow Tactics fits Desperados a lot more.

It's not the graphic style that is bad, I just don't see it fitting for a Commandos themed game. I could see it fit with Desperados, though.

We played Men of War in coop back in the days. Was hella fun, especially because you can split tasks easily. I took care of all the soldierboys, friend 1 took care of tanks and friend 2 did everything else.

I finally got around to finish Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak. Really liked it a lot, even though I did a weird break of 1 year inbetween this playthrough. Shame that it doesn't offer more, especially anything modding or map making... Really, it's like every RTS that can't be modded will be dead within a year (at max) after its release. This just sucks so hard.

Making mods is the best start, I guess. You'll develop a portfolio and you can show what you're actually capable of.

Got em out since over 10 years now (all 4). I'm back at work now... dentist couldn't find anything. This sucks, because I still feel some pain. No idea what now.

I'm sitting at the dentist right now. Will probably take a couple hours. Had slight pain already the past few weeks, but always ignored it. Yesterday I've noticed that the pain got stronger... didn't want to risk it further, so here I am now. :/

Tetris is a puzzle game, Commandos is a Tactical Stealth/Espionage game. There is nothing "tactical" about Commandos. Except when you're cheesing the ai, most missions even only have one path of completion. You'll always have to take down guard x first, otherwise every other guard in the area will see you. Jagged Alliance is tactical, Commandos is not. Why would you call it an "espionage game"? Because of the story? If you strip out the story, you'll get a more advanced Mikado, like I've already posted.

Wanted to play the new dlc on release, played for some hours, then crash. Thanks to the great savegame system I lost god knows how much progress. Didn't bothered with starting it up again. Will have to search for an updated version of the always-saving mod before I can pick it up again. Though I've read the new dlc is kinda mediocre at best, so I might as well just wait for the next dlc...
