And they complain about AI shooting through walls and stuff like that.

Interestingly I thought Deadpool 2 was a lot better than the first movie. Guess I can also call it an ok-ish Marvel movie, because I didn't fell asleep near the end... Usually I'm sleeping at the end of Marvel movies.

Oh damn. I've just learned that Mad Max has a first person driving mode. Nice. Driving and stuff is cool, but I just loath all the grindy elements. It is so annoying, running through an outpost, trying to find the stupid scrap to get a 100% complete. Most of the time I'm missing exactly 1 and then have to start running through the whole area again. Just a pointless waste of time. I'd rather have a deeper story mode and side mission than any of this... Imagine a game like Interstate 76 being made today: Just drive around and collect items from outposts all over the place. Every once in a while you get a short cutscene to advance the pseudo story. Ugh, horrible.

Checked out some preview and they say it ain't that good. Seems there really is a curse on this franchise, because nothing is able to top JA2, not even getting close.

Damn, I really don't know, man. On the one hand, the original Jagged Alliance did not have a very realistic and gritty look. On the other hand, it wasn't really... this... either. Shame they haven't shown more actual gameplay.

So you people made me install Mad Max again. Played a bit yesterday, finished off some outposts. First I was confused because I couldn't collect any vehicle scap anymore... till I've noticed one of the upgrades I have collects them automatically. Nice. Now I just have to figure out how to switch to the mine sniffing dog... It is probably an obvious and stupidly easy function, but I just can't figure it out and the tutorial / tooltips don't mention any of this. Oh well.

Never finished the Mad Max game, because I found it to be a super boring grind. :D The driving was really fun, but all the minute-to-minute events just kept repeating over and over. The outposts felt all the same, you would approach convoys always the same way, and the story didn't hook me up enough to keep caring. Oh, and stupid as I am, I kept accidentally discharging my weapon with the little ammo in it, because I always forgot which button on the gamepad it was... :> Not sure what I would have needed to be changed in order to be hooked up to it. But maybe I'm just thinking that way because MGS5 came out at the exact same time, and I bought both games then... and MGS5 just blew me away for a weird reason.

Nope, PREY has little in common with the original. While I don't really give a damn about it, I too think that the game should have been called something else. It probably would have been better for the sales as well, as too many people thought it is related to the original. PS: "Hate" is a pretty strong word in these cases.

But can they become firefighters after getting out of prison then? Didn't read the article, but Guard Dog mentioned exactly that. If that's true... it's really stupid. -
This will be nothing but a boring slog, I'm pretty sure. Same as with any other generic (Ubisoft, hurr durr) open world. And please... what developers say... this is nothing but marketing. Always makes me think of Oblivions revolutionary radiant ai. lel. But whatever, I'm pretty sure some folks will enjoy it, while I simply ignore it. In other news, new Rome 2 patch and dlc is out. Yay. \o/

I just don't see why people are liking this. It looks nothing like the first Rage. This is the Bethsoft Borderlands clone.
-
I still think Rage 2 looks like crap. :D

Watch this "Virus" (I think that's what it was called) movie from back in the days. Some alien thing makes robots use human bodies to create new robot/human hybrid thingies. Set on a freight ship. I actually really liked this one. Haven't seen it in ages, though. There was also another movie with a small grey alien in the jungle, killing lots of people / soldiers. Forgot the name and remember barely anything, because it must be 15+ years since I've seen it.

Logan Paul is a douche waffle.

Not much of value was lost.

This is the first time ever that I see someone saying Eskimo is a slur. -
First two seasons of TNG can easily be skipped at all times.

Can't wait for SHUT UP, WESLEY!

For a moment I was scared he would get a role in Discovery, but them making a completely new show is god damn awesome.

The game of "stop getting fatter". It's quite annoying at times and certainly not as easy to breeze through as Yoga Fire was on veteran difficulty.

Damnit, they stole my idea. I would combine it with a VR headset, though.

I did 55km today. Shouldn't have done it in that heat... When I made a break to drink the cold water from my thermos, it felt so good. In this very moment, it felt better than anything else I could possibly have. 0.5l really wasn't enough, though. Lost about 6kg since I started 2 months ago. Crazy how fast it goes if you just do a bit exercise every week. /Edit: Well sheet, looks like that went to the wrong thread. I forgot that you can't ninja-open a bunch of threads in this forum and then expect said forum to correctly assign your written post to the thread you're actually really in. Welp, doesn't matter, I guess cycling kinda counts as "playing" in some weird ways. :D

Well, my character isn't exactly doing very piratey things. He isn't robbing people, he isn't boarding ships that don't attack first, heck, he isn't even searching, looting or hiding stashes of stolen cash on remote islands. Therefore, no, I am not a pirate.

So Why Exactly Are They Writing Like This. Do They Think It Is How You Have To Write In English? Also, I Am Curious How You Are Going To Share Your Incoming Wealth With The Fine People Of The Obsidian Boards.
