  1. Bought Ghost Recon Wildlands for cheap and... it looks really cool. The missions, though... they all look exactly the same. I'm just in the second province, but feeling like I've seen it all already. You get close to an outpost or a base, you mark all enemies with your drone, then you sync-shoot them until you are either done or alarm goes off, in which case you just mow down everything easily. If you're not doing this, then you collect resource points for unlocking skills and bonus stuff. Only bought it because people compared it to MGS5, which kinda is true in a way. Big open world, outposts, stuff to shoot... but MGS5 does everything just so much better even though it also repeats mission types over and over again. Maybe it's the general gameplay that feels just so much better in MGS5. The way you move around, the aiming, etc... it's all a lot smoother. No idea (yet).
  2. Like someone on that reddit thread said, she probably wasn't fired over this, but a million other things, because apparently she is hard to work with. Other than that, meh, who cares. /edit: Apparently I care enough to read more about it. Heh, same person one year ago: Hope she still approves.
  3. I think ammo in Prey is only limited if you can't stop yourself from shooting at everything all the time. :>
  4. Yeah, exactly how everyone just loves the Ewocs. I mean, they are the best part of the old movies, right?
  5. I think Prey is pretty nice, but..... it just doesn't hook me. I haven't finished it yet, because, I don't know. Guess it just means I'm more a fan of Thief-styled games than System Shock, because I'm loving Dishonored (2) and I could replay it all the time, while I can't even finish Prey. Don't have any problems with the ammo at all, except for that big laser thingy gun which I forgot the name of. Though, I actually like the shotgun the most. Gave it plenty upgrades to make it even better.
  6. I never even thought about the actor behind the cgi. :D
  7. Is the swamp drained yet?
  8. Just played through The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. It's a short demo / prequel to Life is Strange 2, and it is free. Found out about it this morning. It's... a bit boring, but I still like it. Probably going to preorder LiS2 either way. I just hate the damn episodic release plan... always when you're really into it, the chapter ends and you gotta wait 3 months.
  9. Endomondo says I do ~22.84 km/h. It didn't really changed from 3 years ago when I did lots of cycling as well. I'd love to get faster, but then again, I'm not really doing it for the speed, and also I have a truckton of crossroads and roundabouts to care about on my track, which always make me having to wait... this sucks. The town I lived in before had lots of great bike lanes, so you didn't even had to ride on the streets... wish I had this back now. Oh yeah, and I stopped counting the amount of flat tires I got since I am living in he new place. Seriously, it's like I get a flat at least once every three months. It's b.s. and just pisses me off by now.
  10. Problem with the game is that it runs slower / faster depending on your FPS. For example, on a slower PC, the hotel escape scene can become impossible to beat due to timing issues. Other than that and a few other issues, I also like the game quite a lot.
  11. Upload it somewhere and send a link?
  12. So far I'm just switching between this and cycling. I'll try to do it as often as the weather and time allows for it.. cycling I mean. My next planned tours (18km round) are on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday a double (35km). Last month I did 160km in total, this month I want to reach 200km at least.
  13. Looks like what I've played on PC back in the days.
  14. Pff, it's just the modern day hero(ine) that needs no school and knows everything anyway. Bit like Rey(?) from the new Star Wars, who touched a lightsaber for the first time and instantly knows how to use it. I thought the movie itself was ok-ish. Not really better or worse than the old movies.
  15. How much do you pay for a subscription that gives you games you don't play?
  16. It's Nic Cage gon crazy movie, it can only be good.
  17. Finally got my weights today. Just some beginner stuff, but boy am I weak. Will take me some time to get used to.
  18. After 60 bucks, I'd force myself to play the hell out of it as well. :>
  19. I, too, have a library card!
  20. Should have removed the horrible music then, if that's what the video is about.
  21. Nah, there is lots of cool stuff everywhere, but this video is not.
  22. What's with this horrible music and everything.
  23. So I started watching Dark Matter and wondered why the show is so weird. Looked it up on wikipedia and yup, of course it is a canadian SyFy show. Already suspected this after the first episode. SyFy's science-fiction shows are all the same. Heck, I dare saying that all SyFy shows in general are all the same.
  24. Same here, tbh. I'd love to go over the books now, but I feel like it'll be better to be strong and not to do this.
  25. You people better open up your wallets now: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1959114623/ringe/description
