Games as a service is cancer, and I'm hoping it will never take off for good.

Peta is garbage. Not because of "militant", but because they really don't care about animals. About the Bison, wouldn't be surprised if it's just good old corruption. Like that bear a few years back. None of the hunters were able to track him down. There was panic in the media for days. Then the politicians decided to allow the bear to be shot. Guess what, after that decision, it took them barely an hour or so and he was dead. Who would have thought. you do realize such an explanation makes situation worse and more baffling. instead o' some bumbling bureaucrat panicking and giving the okie dokie to shoot a protected animal 'cause o' misplaced fear the critter could be dangerous, you instead suggest willful malfeasance. oh well. at least the rat were saved. HA! Good Fun! I wasn't trying to make the situation seem better. /edit: I'm still pissed about the "bear-situation". Same with wolves and other rare animals making a comeback to germany- everyone wants to shoot them / have them gone again. I understand why, but that doesn't change how much it sucks. This is one of the points where americas huge size is a big plus. Germany is simply too small / too crowded to really support such animals in non-enclosed areas. They are bound to stumble over people at some point. Hell, no matter where you stand here, if you throw a stone in a random direction, you'll hit a road, a house, or a windmill. Civilization is in every corner and the walled off forest areas are a joke (in size).

The Political Thread - Browncoat edition... down with the Alliance!

It's funny because I didn't expected anything else to happen. -
So the new Red Dead Online update is out and... it made the game worse AGAIN. R* is ****ing it up so God damn hard, it's like they want nobody to play it. Seriously, it's hilarious. They nerfed (hunting) rewards again, made killing police npc's cost you money (not a bounty increase), they added a new bounty system that sends bounty hunters after you, which you need to pay off to get rid off (killing or avoiding them yields no rewards), they added new emotes that cost lots of gold, also added new clothes that are super expensive (hell, the stuff before was already expensive) etc. etc. <shocked pikachu face> It's all just so much bs, I can't put it in words anymore.

So does that mean anything happens to Trump or is that just some more hot air leading to nothing? -
But Bethesda doesn't put much work into their re-releases, so whatever it is, it's probably going to be disappointing. Just look at the Skyrim remaster, which was... kinda pointless... well, at least for pc users. Now that I'm thinking of it, a re-release of FNV in a modified engine could hurt the modding community a lot, because it'll split and lots of stuff won't ever get ported over to the new release.

Oh God, let's hope they did not touch Fo1/2 in any way.

The total conversion they made before had similar problems. It's amazing what they achieved to complete, but at the same time... damn, that writing is bad.

Welp, the Punisher got axed.

I totally forgot about Bobby Kotick and his "taking the fun out of making games" bs.

God damn it, the Hornet DLC for Hollow Knight is actually not a DLC but a whole new game. I know that I will never ever finish it, but I'm quite burning to play it.

I think this is only a means to end tumblr stories that end with "... and everyone started clapping".

What did they change?

If you mean New Austin, it's mostly for online mode. Though, to be honest, even there it's rather empty as of now.

That was a great episode. It's hard to get me to laugh, but this one cracked me up multiple times. There's just one thing I really hate: Having to wait a week for the next episode.

The mini-skirts were hilarious. Imagine someone doing this in a tv show nowadays. The outcry would travel with warp speed through space. Personally I just want realistic uniforms. The mini-skirts are not, and the super tight uniforms in later shows aren't either.

If I'm not about to kill customers, then I try to make it possible that hospitals, drugstores and patients at home are getting their meds, and food, and whatever delivered.

Walking yer dog in Iran is bad. https://edition.cnn.com/2019/01/30/middleeast/iran-bans-dog-walking-intl/index.html -
I'm just here because the BBCode Mode is still broken. Now please go on with whatever else this thread was about.

Reminds me that I haven't seen a real (big) thunderstorm in years. It just doesn't happen around here anymore.

To be honest, I find Dax to be a little bit annoying at times. Also just yesterday I've learned that she actually wanted out of the show, because she always had to wear them super tight clothes and whatnot. Just finished season 5 yesterday. Will start season 6 today. Only two season left. Damn.

New Klingons are miles ahead, but why wasn't it done like that in the first place? Feels to me like it's just another area where they tried to be edgy and failed.

The Orville is competing with STD because they both cater to the Star Trek crowd and both aired at almost exactly the same time. Thus it's not unreasonable to compare them. Sure, folks will likely watch both at some points, but that's a different "issue" entirely.
