  1. Cool. Guess I will try it then. In other news, itch.io is currently down: https://bsky.app/profile/itch.io/post/3lcu6h465bs2n
  2. You mean if I get Gamepass I can buy it for cheaper or that you play it for the Gamepass price then? I never used it, so no clue how it works. Also is Gamepass a streaming service or do you download and use games as usual?
  3. Crazy how fast this suddenly ended. Complete failure. Of course the new gov will now say whatever they need to get western money. I believe this won't end well anytime soon, though.
  4. The new Indiana Jones game looks nice, but it's 70 bucks... nah. I'll wait 6 months and buy it for 20 or so then.
  5. I just remembered that a few years ago I've read Under the Wire by Paul Conroy. It tells the story of him and Marie Colvin (war journalists) in Homs, back when Syrian government and Russia were cracking down on the city. What they describe is pretty much the same that happened in Ukraine -- just relentless artillery fire, leveling the city meter by meter every day until everything is flattened. This, honestly, is really the only thing that Russia is capable of doing. Everything else in their military is useless. Take away the artillery and they are incapable of doing anything. And as we can see now, the only thing holding Assad's regime up was the Russian support. It's almost funny to see how fast it crumbles- if it just wouldn't be for all the civilian suffering at the same time.
  6. Dark Souls 3 felt quite easy to me. I almost breezed through the main game. Not sure if the game is just generally easier, or if I suffered so much through Dark Souls 2 that my motoric skills improved a lot. On the other hand, for some reason I also burned out from the series a lot with it. Bought the DLC but never actually even started it. Took me a long time to get back to Souls games... actually Bloodborne a couple years later was what brought me back. Probably because it felt so very different. Oh, by the way. Not sure if I mentioned it, but I'm not in Bloodborne NG+. Just finished off Amelia and nibbled on the Hunters Nightmare already a little bit. Though I'm not sure if I can do that one again now... Facing the Orphan of Kos (some say, Kosm...) is not something I'm looking forward to at all. Especially not in NG+.
  7. Everyone was so hyped. "Bloodborne remaster!!" until they realized that Sony just reused the old release trailer footage from back in the days. Anyways, I don't bother anymore. Bloodborne runs very good on PC now. I'm happy.
  8. It'll be ez if you have huge stockpiles of artillery and missiles, I guess. Just gotta be able to keep those meat waves at distance.
  9. Indeed, people would then see that China is just a paper tiger as well.
  10. How is this a precedent? Trump already pardoned terrible people the last time he was president.
  11. You just know Trump would keep going after him over ridiculous claims, so I can understand the move. Don't really care either, tbh. Trump is an actual convicted felon and slippery like an eel. Now he is even president again. So yeah.. I can see why Biden will try to protect his people. Especially since Trump and Company keep taunting what they are going to do with their enemies. That said, IMO the issue isn't Biden giving a pardon for his son but that he and all presidents can do this in the first place.
  12. Oh my god, guys. I finally did it. My weapon started to break down near the end, so I had to do the last couple attacks with barely dealing any damage. It was really damn close and I expected having to restart any second now. But for some reason Kos (or some say, Kosm...) kept missing me. Maybe my frantically dodging to the left broke the ai before it broke me. PS: Even after all those years, the spoiler function is still dog poop. Why can't I edit text inside a spoiler? Why is there no markup editor here? Terrible forum software.
  13. Damn, MW5: Clans is already on sale. Didn't it came out just recently?
  14. I refuse to waste my time with reading this kind of stuff. Gamers really have nothing better to do.
  15. Bloodborne update: I'm now level 130 or whatever, 50 hours in. Orphan of Kos (or some say, Kosm...) still beats my sorry ass to a pulp. Wish there would be an easier way to learn the attacks. The constant backtracking and especially having to farm blood echos to buy new vials and bolt paper is really draining me. Was already thinking of just skipping it, but I really, really, really want to finish the DLC. At least I look cool in my Yarnham hunters cap and Lady Maria outfit.
  16. Just watched The Fall Guy. Was a lot better than I expected it to be. Not something I'd see myself rewatching anytime soon, but it was good enough to fill an evening and not regret it.
  17. Managed to beat Lady Maria. As usual, the trick is to... not get hit. So I've trained the moveset and how to avoid getting hit. Was still a very close shot, though. All out of blood vials, no quicksilver bullets left, and Maria being angry like a bee in a jar. By miracle I've managed to dodge all of her last 4 attack combos while my health bar was a thin line already. Was able to take her down with literally empty inventory. Satisfying for sure, but sure as hell I don't want to repeat that anytime soon. After that went to the fishing hamlet and... oh boy do I hate this place. Especially those stupid sharks. Some hours of cheesing and I've managed to obtain the Rakuyo. For all I could care, I'm done with the DLC now. F- the Orphan and F- the rest of the fishmen. Not sure if I would be able to defeat the orphan anyways... if Maria already troubled me, that means my hand-eye coordination sucks ass. No way in hell will I be able to finish off the last boss. At least I look super cool now.
  18. And I am stuck at Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower now Not sure why, but she is a serious issue for me now. Back in my old playthrough, I mopped the floor with her. Not sure what I am doing different this time... I should be higher level now than back then. Maybe skill issue, because somehow I have a hard time dodging her. Back then this boss fight was awesome, because it felt just like a dance. Now it's just Maria punching me in the face without mercy.
  19. Tbh, for me BG3 is too big already. Those 100+ hours behemoths are a tough sell on me now. I'd rather have a shorter game with way more story branching. Imo this is what Outer Worlds did well. Or Alpha Protocol back in the days.
  20. looks like some things just don't change. I'm still Bloodborning. Level 94 now, I'm actually kinda surprised about this. Considering for how many hours I've played the game on PS4, and now I'm breezing through it like that in 3 or what days... crazy. I'm about halfway through The Old Hunters DLC now. Since I'm that high level, I figured why not.. gonna get the cool new weapons + Lady Maria's clothes and then wrap up the main game, I guess. Hell, I even breezed through the Ludwig battle this time. Finished it on 3rd try and barely had to use any blood vials. At this pace, maybe I will actually be able to defeat the Orphan this time. Gave up on that back in the days because even after who knows how many attempts, I barely made it to the 2nd phase of the fight.
  21. Funny, this literally sounds like how I remember the first game. Heh, the release version had completely borked spawn timers. That map transition point from the beginning to the next zone was a literal bandits genocide spot. They wouldn't stop spawning. It's like the developers had no trust at all in their game and decided last minute to turn it into an actual shooter game where you are blasting stuff every minute.
  22. Yeah, watching the video right now, I don't like how big the HUD and everything is. There is stuff going on everywhere, lots of blinking, lots of lights, lots of text... Does the game think I'm stupid and need to be held by the hand at all times? Usually games allow disabling all this HUD stuff, but question is then... can I still actually play the game or am I just gimping myself?
  23. Did they added a 3rd person view? For some reason I thought this game was 1st person only.
  24. Damn, I'm "only" playing for 15 hours, but it feels like I'm already completely overleveled. Just defeated the Shadow of Yharnam on first try. I remember back in the days it took me a couple attempts to get it done... this was barely a struggle. Guess the game gets a lot easier once you have meta knowledge and know what to put skill points in / which weapon to use. Grabbed the Tonitus quite early and boosted it up and now I'm melting everything in my way.
