Hm, could just be differing tastes - not every game has to have world altering change driven by the PC, although it is common

Pretty much, will be hard to hide it or keep it hush barring some extreme policing (press will look hard, after all). Ah, what a world.

Undoubtedly, as people keep posting.

Watching a DB query run for a test and trying to figure out what to get for lunch, have to be quick the rest of the team is leaving for their usual outing so I have to be back here to cover. Also getting a good laugh out of how badly banks run things internally.

Interesting, as I don't think I'm trying to troll. You mentioned these anti-Bioware people here being a nuisance of sorts, so you're not ignoring them. Getting a rise does not mean that you post some long diatribe against them in a thread, after all. And Bruce, there is no meaningful debate here.

Dear God. Found this gem on a related thread elsewhere - http://forums.eidosgames.com/showpost.php?p=1943475&postcount=399 Just by the CM though, but still

Hm, an open world game set in a 40k Hive city. That could be fun.

Ah, okay.

The launch trailer is funny, the BAs committed their entire chapter ? Although it appears this is from the source material, is still amusing in-universe

I enjoyed GTA IV (almost emo ? eh ?) more than SR3 myself, both were fun though. Oh and Warhammer 40k Space Wolf announced!

Specialists get paid pretty well, here anyway.

Okay, but still it's just an odd way of writing to cut the quote off there. I guess they didn't get the exact words so summarized, though. As for the Neo-Nazis well..not exactly a upstanding group to begin with, I'd be surprised if the police are okay with that (article doesn't say) given the history.

Mass Effect has the Tuchanka and Geth arcs that go across the games, that was pretty good.
-
Poor Bioware, being persecuted by people with an agenda, heh. Even if they do do that, they get a rise out of you, so why bother about people slamming some company or its workers.
-
Weird quoting with the facing part left out, hm. Oh well, Russians being backwards and unenlightened, etc.,etc.
-
Why do you even care about Bioware haters though ? You work for them ?
-
Well I guess they see their victory, heh. Why exactly do developers allow people such access to them, again ? Not seeing any reward to trying be chummy with the people you're trying to take cash from, certainly none worth the risk of abuse and death threats. Love the overreaction. The 'horror', really now.

Just as long as you don't use 'The Emperor Protects' as a valediction. Or...you know, try to purge the unclean.

I long gave up telling tales like that because I realized two things - no one cares and for the most part the lyrics of a song that goes 'Life is unfair. Kill yourself or get over it' apply. Though I still tell the epic tale of how I missed out on the free coffee and donut day that one fateful day in December 2011...

People act silly over everything they care about, whether it be sports or loyalty to their employer (company men, woo!). Football fans surpass gamers easily though, game developers just get nasty stuff posted about them online. As for that abuse somehow hurting the games industry ? Heh, I'd love to see that. Still, death threats are extreme and really too low rent. Much better to assault someone's professional ability in an insult, attack them to point out their incompetence at their job, etc. If you're trying to hurt feelings, wounded pride is a lot better than trying to frighten them.
