  1. I said 'I guess..'.
  2. Ah, I haven't beaten Chaos yet, was hoping there was some softening of his douchebag stature as it was pretty annoying ("They call him Ruuuu-fus!" I want to shove him into a grinder). Also, another game in the Sleeping Dogs setting - http://www.unitedfrontgames.com/2013/10/news-from-ufg/ I guess it's a tablet game, though.
  3. Will Rufus still be a giant prick ?
  4. They have good PR. Still, I am a fan of GOG.
  5. Seems sensible, those Catholic girls have a certain reputation Today I plan to remain conscious until 5 pm.
  6. Hey, I'll have you know I get most of my forum posting done during those hoyrs. Different nature to work, though, something to be said for tangible work rather than stuff like advancing some Scrum project or making someone bitch less.
  7. And EA and Activision and Ubisoft.
  8. Then there's nothing they need to do.
  9. Always seem to have a vibe of 'they must declare their loyalty loudly, lest they attract suspicion' when there's a call for people in the same group as some other people to speak out. Sensible ones just need to rat out ones tending to extremism.
  10. I think we'll be ok as long as there's no leak of some FSB-run project to make clone sons of Putin
  11. Problem is those people also can't get along - probably Vatican and the Templars causing a deadlock.
  12. Well, the point is the pay cheque I get monthly. Pretty sure any employer I have or will have will pull an Initech and cut people just to save $1.50, just the way things are.
  13. Not a surprise, they failed the last time and it'd be a bigger coup as she's well known now.
  14. People are loyal to their employers ?
  15. So why are you butthurt over his method ? As for that list, you'd think people would just give up on reading such things.
  16. Those were pretty funny actually. The Golden Throne one is best.
  17. Well, attacking people's kids is a fairly easy way to terrorize them, doesn't work that much with everyone else though so they'll just want you dead.
  18. Had to laugh at work when we rejected a guy for a role that involves heavy client interaction and some development because he said that he was really interested in talking with and dealing with people with some development on the side. This is some cunning game to shut my team down, I figure.
  19. Yes, the breed can be dangerous. Any dog can be, differing degrees of potential damage to be sure.
  20. Interesting effect the breed has on you, the dog certainly didn't look out of control in the video - aside from what I imagine is expected when a collar is forced on an animal.
  21. I suppose I should have put that it was hypothetical rather than relying on the 'if' to convey that.
  22. If a non-cop did this, I'd imagine they'd end up in a similar situation. As for dragging through the mud, I'm not overly sympathetic, he did something and was held account for it. Doubt it'll stick with him anyway in the future.
  23. Why shameful ? They should be held account same as anyone else.
  24. Well, there's a surprise for you. Heh, and who said people are ignoring other issues for this ? Society can walk and chew gum. This also does touch on an issue with cops, in that they've no qualms with being dishonest just to CYA.
  25. Apparently as the video didn't mesh with what they claimed (imagine that..) so possibly put him on leave to be sure, not sure why it's crazy in anycase unless you automatically believe cops. And he's still getting his cheque, so no a big deal. Tough dog though, got tasered and then the cop shot it five times.
