  1. Mass Effect has the Tuchanka and Geth arcs that go across the games, that was pretty good.
  2. Poor Bioware, being persecuted by people with an agenda, heh. Even if they do do that, they get a rise out of you, so why bother about people slamming some company or its workers.
  3. Weird quoting with the facing part left out, hm. Oh well, Russians being backwards and unenlightened, etc.,etc.
  4. Why do you even care about Bioware haters though ? You work for them ?
  5. Still nothing horrible about that. Maybe I am just jaded.
  6. Probably because it's just text on a screen, nothing to get emotional over.
  7. Well I guess they see their victory, heh. Why exactly do developers allow people such access to them, again ? Not seeing any reward to trying be chummy with the people you're trying to take cash from, certainly none worth the risk of abuse and death threats. Love the overreaction. The 'horror', really now.
  8. Just as long as you don't use 'The Emperor Protects' as a valediction. Or...you know, try to purge the unclean.
  9. I long gave up telling tales like that because I realized two things - no one cares and for the most part the lyrics of a song that goes 'Life is unfair. Kill yourself or get over it' apply. Though I still tell the epic tale of how I missed out on the free coffee and donut day that one fateful day in December 2011...
  10. People act silly over everything they care about, whether it be sports or loyalty to their employer (company men, woo!). Football fans surpass gamers easily though, game developers just get nasty stuff posted about them online. As for that abuse somehow hurting the games industry ? Heh, I'd love to see that. Still, death threats are extreme and really too low rent. Much better to assault someone's professional ability in an insult, attack them to point out their incompetence at their job, etc. If you're trying to hurt feelings, wounded pride is a lot better than trying to frighten them.
  11. Not a bad night, but still would have preferred to do my laundry over listening to tales of woe regarding someone's love life.
  12. Based on that, not worth $30.
  13. Contronym is a new word I learned as a result of that
  14. Bug eyed mammals, yikes
  15. Why don't you be the interrogator this time? Don't really care to hear about the latest woman he's stalking, crappy TV show he's watching or console game he's working on. I suppose I am just grumpy today, though.
  16. Wishing I didn't agree to meet a friend for dinner. Conversation will just be tedious interrogation about my work, games I play, etc. And I'm missing out on my laundry time, so there goes tomorrow night.
  17. Those girls aren't jumping.
  18. Well, you agree with me then. Indiscriminately slaughter some guys and that's fine and doesn't make real life slaughters less serious or anything like that as it's a game. Right ? I guess all the righteous SJW anger will come up tomorrow.
  19. Indiscriminate murder doesn't require the same deference with regards to its gravity though, I guess.
  20. Oh good, this will be entertaining to watch.
  21. Also equally useless as a message to close the issue with.
  22. Clearly you overrate yourself. Having fun with IT today. Server is POSTing with trouble, IT says that 'Well you need more RAM'. I am kind of left wondering what exactly the **** they expect us to do and what is their job
  23. Well it being same isn't necessarily a slam against it. I had fun with 3, even if it is a bit face-rollingly easy.
  24. http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/08/15/tropico-5-announced-follow-el-presidente-through-the-ages/ Tropico 5 announced “The Eras – From the 19th century to the 21st, each era carries its own challenges and opportunities. Begin your reign during colonial times and advance your nation through the modern era and into the future! “The Dynasty – Each member of El Presidente’s extended family is present on the island and may be appointed to key leadership positions, earning skills and experience in their assigned roles. “Research and Renovate – Advance your nation by discovering new buildings, technologies and resources. Transform your old buildings into modernized, hyper-efficient designs worthy of an economic superpower! “Advanced trade system and trade fleet – Amass a global trade fleet and use your ships to secure import/export trade routes to neighbouring islands and key nations. “Explore your island – Discover what lies beyond the fog of war. Send prospectors to look for new mineral and ore deposits, but be wary of hostile animals and native tribes. “All new art – All artwork is reworked to provide Tropico 5 with a distinct historic visual identity. Choose from over 100 unique buildings from each of the individual eras. “Cooperative and competitive multiplayer – Up to four players can build up their own cities and economies on any given island map. Players can share resources and citizens, or declare war on each other.” Sounds interesting
  25. Nah, cops here tend to die in car accidents. Though 4 did buy it just walking up to a house with an armed nutter in it. Brave sons of the Confederation, all. Anyway, an aside from the situation.
