  1. Will be interesting to see, the Ukrainians promise some swarm of drones, although Russia has (or had) very good EW according to them - this could be usual Ukrainian whining for more kit though.
  2. Aren't you on the Codex?
  3. https://puck.news/the-milley-doctrine/ Milley's thoughts on things. Bypassed the paywall with Reader View in a private Firefox window, if that helps
  4. Don't recall ever saying I'd do that. Isn't really cynicism, seeing the French talk about how a rule run by might helps no one, the US bemoaning a small nation being invaded or whatever Lavrov went on about is clearly BS.
  5. Harry Belafonte
  6. Not sure too much of the UNSC cares for the principles of the UN. Although I guess international relations is mostly BS said publicly.
  7. Huh, didn't encounter one. Canadian privilege Just references other stuff as to why he got sacked https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2023-04-24/tucker-carlson-is-out-at-fox-news https://www.washingtonpost.com/media/2023/04/24/tucker-carlson-leaves-fox-news/
  8. https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2023/04/tucker-carlson-has-left-fox-news.html Carlson should launch a podcast or start on Utreon, could get a good audience that way.
  9. Should have realized they weren't getting those by March or April 2022, though. There was a piece from a (snort) RAND analyst that was somewhat interesting, will have to find it, but just on how Russia didn't follow their plan of airstrikes then ground assault.
  10. Well, clearly this is a one off and not indicative of anything, as it's BLUFOR . That and the sluggish approach to following their doctrine. They started attacking the power grid how many months late? Mobilized way too slow.
  11. Strongbad did this long ago, but is acceptable
  12. Well at least with that announcement, won't have to hear Melnyk crying.
  13. Almost done Castles, working through my backlog from 1992. The game sure ups the ante with telling you the enemy is approaching from "Unknown". Also am stuck in the storyline loop where Bretagne is continually building a fleet to invade and their ambassador shows up talking **** to me. Tedium in this game is the real boss.
  14. Never gets old people that bandy about "snowflakes" or trot out "good times create weak men" a lot get all bent out of shape over things like this.
  15. I wouldn't. Newer stuff may be more efficient but that alone doesn't warrant it.
  16. Rest of the stuff is Kenmore - not sure who actually made it, mind you. Dishwasher is Bosch.
  17. Yah, I remember you spoke ill of Bosch. Turns out the Bosch is too big for the space we have, so guess we'll go with Frigidaire or GE as those are decent (apparently). Joys of being in Canada (and well dealing with my parents prejudice on vendors and other crap..)
  18. Refigerator needs replacing, so that's fun. Tempted to get a Bosch one, given how everyone talks them up to me , and our Bosch dishwasher and washer held up to heavy use for 10 years. But 4k for a fridge, argh.
  19. Some guy saying enemy's equipment is trash, truly a shock. Surprised they even took the tank back to the US at all
  20. Yep, but it is useful for us spectating, and just in theory, as I said. Although, if the leaks are just an aggregate sum or WIA/KIA, would that be useful to the Russians ? If it were by unit and/or location, I could see that.
