  1. An extremely successful term followed by his death? Er...what was his success?
  2. Democrats haven't developed a deep bench. Certainly not ready for 2020. Julian Castro, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker won't be ready until 2024. What about Gabbard?
  3. Well the US gets its Rob Ford. Hopefully the same end.
  4. Can't remember what nobody played.
  5. Man, this is like watching Chelsea win.
  6. I've done a looooooot of thinking about this, and the way I'd summarize it...? "Too big to fail." Too big to fail is the problem that faces us this day and age. It affects businesses, it affects politicians, it affects everything. I feel Clinton was "too big to fail," and while I would debate she's the better candidate in regards to future elections (sets a precident for corruption and money driving politics), if you objectively review Clinton and Trump, yeah, no **** she's the better candidate. The issue with too big to fail is it's a license to be a ****. You can cross any line you want, screw up as much as your want and be corrupt as you want.....yet you do help the world and offer a net profit, thus "too big to fail." I think that at the end of the day, the "solution" (best solution? No idea, but the solution people have chosen) is that we need to move backwards before we can move forwards. We need to hurt the "too big to fail" for once before we can move forward again. That's my take on this anyways. Yeah, and the implement of with is a corporate man. The congress is not packed with GOP people that are revolutionaries. And besides if the 'establishment' is as monolithic as everyone keeps mentioning it to be, it will certainly work around something that operates in a known system.
  7. The whitest dancing ever, tsk tsk
  8. Somehow I don't think the 'establishment' lost today
  9. Hm, I am not looking forward to checking my RRSPs this week.
  10. Might want to have a side of Bernie Bro bitterness as well, KP. Ample supply tonight
  11. Yeah, I'd hope your society's not so ****ed that lame Internet behaviour has a place in the adult world. But even so, saying racist and stupid **** doesn't get absolved by "was kidding" when it comes to people's reactions to it.
  12. Well, swaths is a vague unit, but you really think he hasn't offended chunks of those groups (as hard as it may be to step outside yourself, anyway) ?
  13. Did you at least hit a Trump supporter with it ? Waste of kinetic energy, otherwise!
  14. Well, majority is whites, heh.
  15. Was disappointed this wasn't coloured.
  16. Works fine without GA, you just have to allow the grauniad scripts. On Firefox at least. Just kind of weird that they'd go to the trouble of making a nice interactive high info map and leave out something as critical as how much each state is worth. The BBC map is far simpler and more basic but includes the number of delegates so is actually more useful. Nope, only script disabled there is GA. Perhaps FF nightly doesn't play well with it for some reason.
  17. Ah, yet another site that breaks if you don't allow Google Analytics.
  18. Well, certainly a depressing night so far.
  19. For the libertarian party in 2020 it's incredibly important Ah, is the party very active in the interim years or do they just pop up every 4 and shake a can ? https://twitter.com/GovMikeHuckabee/status/796171852645355522 Sometimes people deserve caning.
  20. Wonder how much it'll matter that Johnson does well, here, other than catching blame.
  21. Florida needs purging.
  22. Well at least Tammy Duckworth won
  23. https://twitter.com/FBCSO/status/796151174202347520 Well, can't fault the guy for that excuse
  24. Bah, useless Floridians.
  25. Florida certainly is a see-saw
