  1. Or just a good way to make NATO go on alert needlessly. But really, those troops would most likely be used on Belarusians before NATO.
  2. https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/04/middleeast/israel-west-bank-jenin-raids-tuesday-intl-hnk/index.html Water and electricity being targeted is curious, for sure.
  3. Nothing like a server process not working for 2 days and somehow no one notices. Either no one actually uses our product or they are all very forgiving.
  4. Tried doing the capstone dungeon in D4 at 66, that resulted in failure. Some of the mechanics are really annoying as melee in the boss fights, just getting hit in the face by a spiraling magic attack, etc. The dungeon aspects where you're chased by a lightning damager or there are these shadow damage spots on the ground aren't all that fun to deal with either for me, not a huge deal but it makes the tedious farming more so, heh. Also went back to Sleeping Dogs for a bit, my Wei is being a great cop, randomly abducting people. It's funny to meet Triad bosses and everyone while wearing an HKPD SWAT uniform though,
  5. Related to recruiting - https://www.wsj.com/articles/military-recruiting-crisis-veterans-dont-want-their-children-to-join-510e1a25 around paywall - https://archive.is/Gj6cW
  6. Ah ok, fair. Does the recruiter interact with her officially ? If so, US recruiting is impressive! In Canada the Forces here are underfunded so I assume they lack the ability to do that kind of stuff so is outside of my experience.
  7. Finally got max renown in all zones in D4, only lvl 63 now. Gotta grind to unlock Torment now
  8. What motivated you to attend the event in the first place ?
  9. Alan Arkin
  10. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jun/30/russia-has-approved-plan-blow-up-zaporizhzhia-nuclear-plant-claims-ukraine Hm, think they'll blow it up on July 4 ?
  11. Wonder if the UK has a racism problem in the military. Well or maybe non-whites are too smart to go into the forces.
  12. Pft, didn't say "Ya Hya Chouhada".
  13. Depends on who comes up after him, may be competent, but overall that's not really going to matter much for Ukraine winning eventually. That said, I'm not sure the competence of Russian Generals is really being judged all that fairly by most.
  14. https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2023/06/28/russian-general-arrested-following-wagner-mutiny-mt-russian-a81685 Well, Gerasimov's job is safe, good news for Ukraine, I suppose
  15. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russias-prigozhin-remains-under-investigation-mutiny-kommersant-newspaper-2023-06-26/ Strange
  16. Diablo 4 has some fun side quest chains, rather enjoyed the ones helping a man living with a demon in him to collect things, the demon being happy to inhabit him for simple pleasures humans have. Slowly renown grinding though the regions as well. Also ran into the Butcher today, managed to wear him down, Flurry Rogue is pretty tanky
  17. They have people on site, probably 3 days as the statement is dated. But was to say the Ukrainians aren't lying, but just exaggerating, the best kind of dishonesty there is. This isn't the first time they've warned everyone about the ZNPP - I recall ISW mentioning it daily a couple of months ago as well, heh.
  18. Well it shouldn't, is just my guess. They can always hold on to that as their escalation step.
  19. I am thinking they are stretching what "near" means, have to scare people. Blue Team never lies though, etc. ,etc. https://www.iaea.org/newscenter/pressreleases/update-167-iaea-director-general-statement-on-situation-in-ukraine "The IAEA is aware of reports of mines having been placed near the cooling pond. No mines were observed at the site during the Director General’s visit, including the cooling pond. However, the IAEA is aware of previous placement of mines outside the plant perimeter, which the Agency has previously reported, and also at particular places inside - which security personnel at the plant explained were for defensive purposes. “Our assessment of those particular placements was that while the presence of any explosive device is not in line with safety standards, the main safety functions of the facility would not be significantly affected. We are following the issue with great attention,” Director General Grossi said."
  20. Oil depot was downrange of them firing at a RF chopper, I believe.
