  1. Canada ended our evacuation somewhat early. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-afghanistan-last-flight-1.6153899 Still surprised Canadians would not have GTFO of that country way earlier.
  2. Well he's being a tool to the reporter not joking about dead Americans or anything. Still is unprofessional though, although wonder what the reporter wanted for an answer - detailed plans ?
  3. SR3 was crap too, though.
  4. It being an Epic exclusive is a bright spot, at least.
  5. Manager asking why I seem angry all the time. Luckily muted self to answer properly
  6. Well unarmed passengers I guess you meant. Edwin Starr's "War" really should be the anthem though
  7. https://www.pcgamer.com/the-saints-row-reboot-wont-be-as-edgy-as-its-predecessors/ Yay, I guess.
  8. "NO SMKG" - No smoking on a Huey ?
  9. https://www.gog.com/game/highrise_city_demo Early Access Demo, or something for this city builder. Looks like a modded C:S
  10. As always it's the people not the philosophy, Robinson wasn't too far off at least thinking of the few libertarians I've run into over the years. Basically their practice of it is "**** you, I got mine".
  11. Damn, you are old
  12. At least it's better than Steelport.
  13. Oh, damn, I just scanned up a bit but didn't see it
  14. https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/cowboy-bebop-premiere-date-first-look-john-cho-1235046075/ Yoko Kanno is involved, so music will be ok enough I guess.
  15. Fun days, although mostly it was me looking at games I could not run. Pining away for Strike Commander Broderbund got passed around, most of their games ended up with Ubisoft. Although it seems they exist as a label (Mavis Beacon still going strong)
  16. Yeah, publishing a decent number of games, didn't know they were publishing Ground Branch. Stealey's involved, at least somewhat. Old interview : https://venturebeat.com/2020/06/06/how-microprose-returned-to-making-military-sim-games/amp/ They and LucasArts were my childhood, F-117A, F-19 and GS2k.
  17. I thought Stellaris did it well by having the game run so slowly they'd defeat you that way. Still doing the tutorial for Planetfall, can't find time conveniently, so far seems like it'll be a Civ 5 like experience at least. Hopefully will get to experience a proper game tonight and lose.
