I think the mods will step in before we have people moaning about "globohomo" or the Jews.

Oh right, forgot about that bit after you talk to those things in the hellish zone. My memory ain't what it should be. I think I should give Old World a go, my friend keeps raving about it.

You can ice the kid after the Harvest Time quest, if I recall. For the rushed ending - maybe they ran out of budget and time. I didn't really mind it in terms of gameplay, the moment when all the choices have a consequence was a bit hammy though.

I am still disappointed the game tried telling me blowing that kid's chest apart was a bad idea.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jun/15/justice-for-ukraine-overshadowed-by-cost-of-living-concerns-study-shows Surprised concern over nuclear weapons is so high.

UK police are descending on your house.

I always liked KSR's via Coyote - Anarchists who want police protection from their slaves.

I've only heard good things about Old World, best Civ game since Civ 4, that kind of thing. Well other than the babies crying because it was an EGS exclusive

Hardspace is fun, although pulling myself at 20 m/s into a spaceship and dying from the cracked faceplate was a goof. The experience of working for uncaring bosses and doing menial, repetitive tasks is a bit too close to real life to be entertainment, though.

About time. I need some jank in my life.

Well the BHD incident was also a screw up. If Trump were President, they wouldn't have been there in the first place Canadian troops murdered a couple of Somalis, infamously tortured and killed Shidane Arone, which made people take a look into them closely and the entire regiment was disbanded as a result. If I recall the rest of the army here sent problem children to the regiment - proof of military intelligence if there ever was any. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somalia_affair

Yes, and didn't actually tackle those militias until later, and they failed at that when they tried. But at least they made a good effort and avoided having atrocities (aside from usual US collateral damage..) unlike Canada, heh.

Poor solution long term in the Somalia operation, not to mention the US ****ing up so much at the end - gunship strike, incompetence of the raid that scared them off.

Ah, they did an Insomnia type offer as well. Frostpunk is 85% off, well worth $5 - 2 hours left

Media here is banging the drum that they are outgunned and on the verge of collapse again as well.

Hopefully will make good money off it.

Come now, it gave us this moment

Fired one guy, hired 3 guys in India to replace him. Genius. At least got this query in from a client select * from ( select * from TABLE_NAME where COL= 99999 ) sub1 order by 7 asc So had a laugh today.

Old but still amusing.
