  1. Come on, you really believe that ? It's like the Iraqi that took out an Apache with a Brno rifle. Can take it down for sure, but probably should leave that for AAA, at least that'll benefit from radar - they lit up the sky this morning with it as well.
  2. Heard a reporter on news mention cops doing this, thought he was mistaken at first and confused them using AA guns, but nope.
  3. Her comments about Hale seem pretty tame. Ultimately, nothing will change from this, but it's at least an entertaining bit of drama.
  4. Remember seeing a claim that since 1815, 315 MM people were killed in wars.
  5. That's neat marketing.
  6. Must be paying Hale more to do one of the three voices she's capable of doing, as well.
  7. Self harm is not the way, Amentep.
  8. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/oct/14/elon-musk-spacex-no-longer-fund-starlink-internet-ukraine " “We are not in a position to further donate terminals to Ukraine, or fund the existing terminals for an indefinite period of time,” SpaceX’s director of government sales wrote, in a letter seen by CNN. "
  9. Game's a lot quicker, or so it seems to me and trying to be a support sucks (other than my playing with the usual rando trash). Losing so much, going to be a while to get 10 wins for comp, hah. The way the unlocks work also sucks, but alas, it's F2P so can't be helped.
  10. Nice to see Bastila getting more work
  11. Never a Blade Runner around when you need one.
  12. Wonder what Ukraine's SAM inventory is like now.
  13. Tried Overwatch "2" now that the queues are gone and they don't need my phone number. Seems like same old, at least not dealing with ragers on voice comm.
  14. Given ~2 years is 'record time', how long should it have taken ? and for a laugh - https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63225781
  15. Yes, nothing in Russia works, their infrastructure functions only due to dark pacts signed with Satan. The point was the time is not suspiciously less than project one of the Nations of the Light. Add in it's a prestige project and you can consider they'd do a good job of it.
  16. Angela Lansbury.
  17. Took 14 months to build (at least a 2 lane span of) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Pontchartrain_Causeway And that's a much longer bridge. Can't really assume some sort of linear relationship for construction time and bridge length, but doesn't seem too unreasonable. Design, planning and so on probably takes longer. That said damage from a truck bomb and rail fire isn't really something to chalk up as "easy".
  18. Back home at last and back to work, at least flight home was fun. Hearing United preboard veterans with a call for applause was something.
  19. Sort of strange how the West must respond to these airstrikes, they did them before so not like it's some unprecedented escalation, fainting spells about infrastructure strikes aside - if reciprocity is ok, then the initial act wasn't all that heinous, surely.
