  1. I had thought her long term plan was to be in the US
  2. Shame she's planning to leave, was interesting to see things about Khabarovsk and the east part of Russia. If she ends up in the US, not much point watching.
  3. So Kherson retaken by Friday ? Kirby's always amusing. https://www.cnn.com/europe/live-news/russia-ukraine-war-news-08-29-22#h_e3689c316a46e6ec6d7bd5352ce23da8 Also amusing is that Russian report on what Ukrainian equipment they took out.
  4. Wonder if they ever get any sovereign citizens refusing to comply with the inspection
  5. Needed more graphic deaths. At least we should have seen the planned quartering of Ultra Magnus.
  6. Ukraine's OPSEC (writing that makes me feel like the equivalent of a military full kit wanker) has been pretty good. This is all "battlefield shaping" apparently, though.
  7. Haven't seen those. Apparently lots of armor leaving Crimea though, Kherson I guess?
  8. Sorry, shouldn't have said series. Seems like they were planning sequels to Andromeda, but those got nixed.
  9. And done Andromeda. Boss fight was as dumb as I expected, but it was nice to see my entire squad there - although wasn't sure what they were doing if anything, heh. Overall, still a decent experience, avoided doing most of the grindy stuff other than the memory fragment stuff which wasn't too bad to do. The constant traveling for quests was annoying, think the worst for that was Peebee's loyalty quest or maybe the quest to hunt down the pregnant scientist. Sunk 62 hours into this, so got decent mileage out of the $10 I spent on it and then some, I spent 75 h in ME:LE, heh. Benefit of so many years since release, I guess. It is sort of disappointing they dropped the series, if I am recalling correctly, the setting is interesting and the crew is...mostly characters i enjoyed (Liam and Peebee can go).
  10. And still out before Star Citizen.
  11. I liked the professor that assumed we were all subhuman trash he was forced to teach things our troglodytic minds couldn't grasp in a century. Nice guy once you get to know him though
  12. Me too, I desperately needed those 80s But generally the idea of "useful" degrees just devolves into STEM graduates degrading everything else, heh. Yep, but that ship has sailed long ago - can argue the focus on them now does warrant tertiary education being free or heavily assisted, I guess. Anecdotal for sure, but the rare time I interviewed college graduates (once the senior people stopped masturbating over Waterloo) I found them to be capable at just doing the work needed.
  13. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/26/amazon-not-expected-to-bid-for-electronic-arts.html Nothing concrete refuting it. Probably all from some guy in r/wallstreetbets, I'm guessing.
  14. Dex is free for 72 h. Seems interesting especially at that price.
  15. Wonder if they confused the term/slang 200 for the number of dead. Thread would be pretty boring otherwise
  16. Ok, so then make it free but have a minimum requirement for it to be so.
  17. Most of it I see is people who paid off their loans griping at it. For some reason. Surprised to not see more fear mongering about the Commies though
