  1. Maybe that'll change in the next decade, the US will be bored and realize it needs amphibious warfare training for China, so will invade
  2. Oracle is actually an acronym : One Rich **** Called Larry Ellison
  3. I wonder why the US still even cares about Cuba at this point. We'd have much less if the US never bothered with "regime change" in the first place, as well.
  4. I think they have enough tanks, they need IFVs and APCs to move all their infantry. Surprised they've not got a lot of Bradleys at least.
  5. Relative in the US passed away, just collapsed. Sad, although he had a motor neuron disease and wasn't living a good quality life. Not directly involved in the fun to get him buried back home, especially with my **** relatives.
  6. Coolio
  7. https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-government-and-politics-746ae5a7113e9bb78562ee3a943c9260 "Since the funding is for contracts for weapons and equipment, it is aimed at helping Ukraine secure its longer-term defense needs. It could take a year or two for Ukraine to get the systems. The U.S. has used Pentagon drawdown authority to provide weapons more immediately, and another announcement for that Defense Department aid is expected early next week." A year or two seems rather long.
  8. Performance for me started to bog down once my town got 130 people, granted my machine's not a powerhouse or anything. Realize I forgot all about desirability so have no homesteads, hah, so restarted rather then correct something that busted.
  9. Driving back the Russians with F-35s in Chinese livery
  10. https://abc7.com/fontana-fatal-shooting-woman-killed-domestic-violence-incident-cypress-avenue/12272301/ "Dicus said the girl was wearing tactical gear as she exited a truck's passenger side and ran toward the sheriff's deputies. She fell to the ground amid the gunfire. The deputies did not initially realize it was the girl who was running toward them, Dicus said, because she was wearing a helmet and a military-style vest that can hold armored plates."
  11. Can see both sides, unchecked might not be worth it as some tiers will become a cesspool and is tiring to deal with neckbeard homunculi, but checking like this is a bit too much. I never talk on voice chat, I do troll ragers a lot though - I still remember reducing one guy to incoherent screaming
  12. For some reason I thought Grounded was released already. https://www.pcgamer.com/new-overwatch-2-accounts-have-to-unlock-old-heroes-too/
  13. https://www.ft.com/content/1aa35421-35c3-4183-93ea-95c3007a4f3d Must America save you lazy Euros again ?
  14. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/09/28/the-us-and-europe-are-running-out-of-weapons-to-send-to-ukraine.html Probably just CNBC trying to subtly hustle for more money to LM, but is a frightful expenditure of gear in modern war.
  15. Italy is not that key a part of the machine though, no? And they have Poland to make up for it.
  16. Unlikely, but would be funny to see the US punch themselves in the face this way if/when it comes to light.
  17. Maybe, I'm very charitable to Banished as it's done by one guy who hit what he aimed at. Doesn't really seem like FF is that much deeper, the things I recall are : getting raided (also what's with my lazy ass guards, village's being raided I need to manually scramble them ? ), food spoiling and crop disease. For the crops, I was expecting to need seeds to start off as well, maybe that's coming in later releases.
  18. The only dialogue that sounded unnatural was Panam & Saul, but that's just because the natural way is so poor. That said, "nova" and "preem" get my teeth on edge a bit
  19. Well its destination would probably be in Russian airspace, they've been doing that for the whole war.
  20. Up to 15 now https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/gunman-opens-fire-school-russias-izhevsk-russian-media-cites-local-police-2022-09-26/ Rookie numbers for school shootings in Russia.
  21. Sure, that's one interpretation I guess. For infrastructure targets, I didn't see the reason for outrage, others have done it and it was okay then. As for incendiaries, eh, everyone has fainting spells anytime a weapon of that class is used (amusing when I recall US media thumping a bit on thermobarics during Afghanistan/Iraq). If they were smart they'd use WP, then get the dodge card everyone else plays, heh. That and well, everyone says it's a war crime everytime, assuming every village is chock full of civilians in the 20 second clip.
  22. Back to Farthest Frontier, food spoilage is a hassle, for now just brute forcing past it. Game really hates me being a farmer, endless disease and pestilence even when I leave it fallow for 2 seasons. Still is fun though, even if it's just Banished but a bit deeper.
