totally goes together We are social animals, and everyone needs love. Even us witty intelligent guys!

Let the reptilian side of the brain take over I say and show ones wit! I always try to be polite at first with a spark of interest and a smile. Me: So how are your doing this lovely evening? slout: Im doing great! Me: I can tell, you look great! Then ask why shes up there and go on from there! Give her compliments, ask her questions about who she really is, and be interested. If shes awesome then you dont even have to "act" interested! hehe Give up little about yourself, the less she knows the better I think! I am a flirt so, my only man sense of humor can be over bearing sometimes! Yea never tell a girl "Yea id impregnate you" when she asks for a compliment! If theres a dance floor then you need to get on it seriously. Show confidence, grab her ass! drop a magnum out hahahahahaha jk unless you have those! Im not exactly the richest guy out there so I tend to sharpen other more practical skills. Women love a witty, intelligent chap!

That's a book? I kinda liked the concept but didn't really get into it very much. You dont count comic books as books? Im half way through book six and i love the series so far. I heard it dies towards the end though. After this I have another book in line, Don Quixote.

I like Mass Effect! Quality game, just stay away from the nonsense planets where there is crapola. All those planets were a big waste of time! Stick to the main story brosiv!

Dream fall was good fun! Even if its just a lame build up.

I remember playing STALKER, i put that one back down 2 times and then finally picked it up again after it was heavily patched, added some mods and BLAM it was awesome! I still havent beat Clear sky though. Id like ot ge tback to that. Mass Effect is another one i almost beat but never quite finished due to Life changes. The Witcher... It seems like a game i would like, i love the writing, and the style and atmosphere. But the gameplay was really pissing me off. Ill give it another try, it deserves it. The game was also crashing on me. Bah!

I wouldnt be so quick to discredit Herodotus, he is the first modern historian that is very good at telling history and then telling when he is just giving his viewpoint on the matters, giving a secular perspective on that facts.

That's no quite true and the Greeks weren't much better, even in Pericles' Athens. Greeks weren't perfect either but they were better by a milestone, a MILESTONE. They had law, no king, citizens had the vote. That is a milestone. They had a sense of individual freedom, political freedom to a large extent and sometimes national freedom. Lets not forget in the US only landowners could vote, and there were slaves in the US also. That too still is a milestone better then the persian empire of slaves. Medean kingdom near the modern city of tehran. Alstuajays vaseer wiki

I thought all three were very entertaining! I saw watchmen yesterday and loved it. Im glad i read the book before though since they had to gloss over a lot, it was nice to get a broader viewpoint of everything that went on. As for 300, i love anything greek really, my avatar kind of gives that away. :D That battle was big and think if the persians would have won that war what this world would be like today. They had no since of freedom, everyone was a slave but the king. Yea its over the top and not all that historically true for what we know of it through herodotus but its just enteratining, and those guys deserve to be glorified.

It makes the game better obviously but... It doesn't give it that godly feel that UT2K4 has. You can move so much faster in it, and the lightning gun is such a great hitscan weapon compared to this lame sniper rifle that is in EVERY SINGLE game out there. bah! I'm getting curmudgeon!

Broken Sword rerelease as Director's Cut
Theseus replied to Walsingham's topic in Computer and Console
I played this game a couple years ago! I thought it was a charming little game that showed some spunk. The sequels didn't look that great, so I passed on them. Im surprised its not going to be rerealeased for the PC seriously. WTF is up with that? Not like im going to play it again after beating it. Adventure games I rarely play over again, with exception to Gabriel Knight 2. Anyone here liked the sequels to broken sword? -

The right not to vote is a liberty unto itself. I do not see why the government would make it mandatory. Hes only harming himself by not giving himself a voice to be heard. Let those that are disinterested in government be what they will. Making it a law to vote is just taking away a personal right. If we keep on agreeing to the government making laws such as this one, it may be a slippery slope to fascism perhaps.

John Stewart Mill in his book On Liberty suggested that people that have college degrees should have more voting power, yet others should still have a vote that counts, just not as much. He makes a good argument. Does a politician know art better then an artist? Some people are more interested in other areas, its just the way the world works. He makes a very logical argument even if one disagree with him. If we have more informed pleope voting, then our society would be goverened better. We get the leaders we deserve. But in order for this to work, college needs to be much more affordable. I think i read somewhere that in the past 30 years pay has gone up 100 percent about and college tuition has gone up 430 percent. This is not acceptable i believe to make john mills idea to work. College shouldn't be for the super rich, neither the super in debt. Its pathetic when a college grad gets a degree only to get into his profession to make 30-40K a year job. Maybe that doesnt sound so bad if your health coverage and retirement plan are included though, depending on what city one is living in. But 30K isn't enough to pay the thousands in student loans all the time. We have a partial meritocracy i think. The Gov does give any citizen a chance for college tuition. There are also chances for welfare, and even healthcare if one is in poverty. So that gives people at a lower income to rise out of it out of the sweat of their brow. Then again there are lobbyists that are constantly against the working person who works hard with there hands, who might work harder then lets say a person who doesn't create ANYTHING like in wallstreet, who just screw the system. We have problems, add masses of people to any equation and things get complicated.
