  1. People who don't support the death penalty confuse me almost as much as socialists do. If you kill someone, you deserve to die, preferably in a worse manner than did the person you killed.
  2. Oblivion's a great game. Why should he wince (I guess?) because of it? Anyway, I'm playing Mass Effect. I just played through the new Fable DLC. In an hour and a half. It costs seven bucks. $7/1.5 hrs= 4.67 $/hr. What a rip. Actually, come to think about it, that's actually a better time/money ratio than the original game.
  3. Funny, 'cause I thought that was the highlight of the trailer. That, and .
  4. Good luck. Isn't the Chem AP test statistically the most difficult one offered? I recall it being so when I took it in '97 (in terms of the % of takers getting a 4 or 5). Thanks. At least this one was easy. Yeah, chem is pretty up there in tems of pathetic 5 rates. World is worse, though. Rather surprising, 'cause World was much easier. Yeah, I'm the kind like your sister. I've never skipped a homework assignment, (I have no semblance of a social life). I've started to realize that doing problems, etc. can only do so much. Yeah, that's why I'm taking these damn things: to be ready for college-level workloads. That, and so that I have a chance to get into MIT.
  5. Very good choice... but I'd have to go with Einstein's lectures at Princeton... all of them... consecutively...
  6. So yesterday I got raped by the Chem AP exam (its basically a final for a nationally-regulated supposedly college-level course). Therefore, I'm now studying my *** off for the next one (World History).
  7. I'm gonna go with Yoda on the Jedi side and Bane (of course) on the Sith side, with Revan following.
  8. Umm... the Kasim I remember got his ass handed to him on a silver platter... After almost killing Bane... Which brings me to my point... the best was Bane... no contest... he could break Windu...
  9. Shigeru Miyamoto. Because he's god. NIS. Level 9999 FTW. CliffyBCliff Blezinski (I definitely butchered the spelling)... seriously, Jedi/Sith can do roids too, right? BioWare/Obsidian (no preference) Bethesda Those second 2 were jokes, btw... though a NIS-flavored KOTOR would be awesome...
  10. I have the .iso burned, I'm just too lazy to install it, partion my hd, etc... Is it worth the effort?
  11. learn2QM Learn to... quantum mechanics? As in the Hiesenburg (I spelt that wrong) uncertainty principle? Which would validate the original post... Hmmm...so he knows either the location of the inhibition center of his brain, or its velocity, but not both at the same time? Unfortunately, I'm not sure scientists have figured that one out yet. Incorrect. That's unfortunate.
  12. Wolvering. ****ing epic. Keep in mind, I've never read one of the comic books, so your mileage may vary. Too muich "acting" though.
  13. And Craps Macs are? Why did you write 'Craps' then cross it out? Most people get confused when I refer to them as Craps.
  14. learn2QM Learn to... quantum mechanics? As in the Hiesenburg (I spelt that wrong) uncertainty principle? Which would validate the original post...
  15. Craps Macs suck. I have their failPhone, and I can't wait to be rid of the damn thing. My fried spent $2k on a shiny new mac and dual-booted w/ Windows(?????????); he got a C2D. I paid $2k, and got a i7, etc, and a good couple thousand more 3dMark points. I'm all for buying "nice" things, but only when you're already buying that's more about looks than preformace, like watches or cars. Computers don't qualify.
  16. WIN!!!! To bad if it still uses Gamebryo. That engine blows. More portable nukes please?
  17. Hopefully he'll be fine. I need something to talk about to waste time in physics . Ya know, that and the whole "most intelligent man alive" bit.
  18. Uhgh. Lucky you. That sounds painful.
  19. I felt like an epic d-bag after I did that the first time. Then I did thrice more, and I just laughed.
  20. No. Yeah, you're probably right, but, as I said, when multi-core optimization becomes more prevalent, that will change. Any way you look at it, the i7 is going to be a long-term investment, which ties into the original question of longevity.
  21. Let me rephrase that, for you specific-minded/"just google" people... Do you believe the low end i7 would have more core-system gaming longevity than the core2duo? I see some DD3 ram for like 100 for 6 gigs (probably a cheap brand, I know) and i7 motherboards for a few hundred...doesn't seem like a major price difference to me for a non-uber i7 rig? The i7's definitely much faster. The price is much higher too. I'm running the EVGA board, which is ~$300, but you can find one for ~$200 if you bargain hunt. Thats considerably more that a LGA 775 board. The procs themselves are more money, though generally you can find C2D/Q for similar prices but much less performance. the 920 is very good, and OC's beautifully, so it'll be good for a very long time. Gaming-wise, it has a decent boost over the C2s, and that gap will get larger once more games are optimized for quad-core. $1600 will get you a great i7 rig (no monitor, case or PSU- I recycled).
  22. Did you participate in the "Blessing of the Sun"? Nope. The last time I did any sort of formalized prayer was at my grandfathers funeral, and before that it was at my bar mitzvah. Not the most religious, I know, but whatever. That's why they have the LHC, right?
