  1. I can definitely say what it won't be: TOR. In fact, I can personally guarantee that TOR will tie Galaxiees for worst SW game ever. Most predictable response ever? I think so.
  2. Uninstall Vista and install XP. Barring that, buy an XBox or try running it in compatibility mode.
  3. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Correct? Yup. Still trying to fill that hole that KotOR III left there? Yup. I still need to be a fanboy of something. Siggy quote time, by the way.
  4. I never thought I would see a defense of North Korea, or any other Communist country for that matter. /facepalm
  5. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Correct? Yup.
  6. Saw District 9 for the second time. Still epic, even tough its a bit of a departure from my usual picks- I mean, there's really no killing until the last 45 mins... There's also acting... Too much of it, in fact... Also saw HBP for the fifth time... I know, I know... But I wanted to see that goddamn .
  7. Sorry for your loss Wals...
  8. I can't stand westerns for some reason.
  9. I have a great aversion to all physical activity, so I'm not much help here, but I imagine Koji Kondo would be good as most of his stuff is upbeat, as would Tanaka. Or maybe I'm just a fanboy.
  10. I spent most of today yelling at my school because they can't assemble seven classes for me to take. What. The. Hell. How hard can it be to find seven consecutive AP classes? After that I went looking for a new phone. I played with the Pre and the Tour, both of which are apparently very good, and still can't find anything . I guess I'll wait until the holidays and hope something good will be out.
  11. Taken... Freakin' epic. Not much in the way of plot or acting, just theway I like it... Just an angry guy with a gun and a bunch of people to shoot up... Seriously? RotK is the greatest movie ever made IMO; the first one, however, had the greatest opening EVAR (Sauron killing crap).
  12. Saw Harry Potter for the third time, only this time it was in Imax... Still great.
  13. I use a Coolermaster V8 and it works great... However, its rather large (I had to remove a 120mm fan from my case, and its not a small case) and it can get loud... But I generally recommend Coolermaster...
  14. Got back from touring some colleges... and proceeded to pop Mass Effect into the disk drive... I love that thing...
  15. Looked for a new phone. Still nothing. I really don't want to have to wait for the Hero, but its looking like I will.
  16. Was it hacked up as much as The Prisoner of Azkaban? Despite all that it was still a great movie, albeit really short. Not really. Yeah, I think in this case reading the book shows you how little they had to work with; the book itself was about as exciting as watching a snail move. They actually did a great job considering they had to make a movie out of back-story exposition. Yeah, everyone jumped in my theater too. I knew it was coming, but it still managed to surprise me.
  17. BlazBlue and Red Faction: Guerilla. BlazBlue is certainly the better of the two; its one of the best games I've played in a while. RF, on the other hand, is fairly meh- its good, but it has very little plot. I recently got around to playing Assassin's Creed (I've had for several months, but just never had time to play it). I wish I had played it earlier. I liked it. It was an interesting take on the open-world genre, except that it was good (technically Oblivion and FO3 were open-world too, but they were RPGs so I don't group them with GTA, etc.). The storyline made very little sense on the whole; the ending was very much a surprise, as it really had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the game. I recommend it, though.

  19. Half Blood Prince. Really good, saw it at midnight. The best of the bunch so far, which is ironic because its the worst of the books (its still very good though, don't get me wrong) IMO. Maybe its so good because it isn't just a carbon copy of the book- it really turns what was a somewhat boring book into a relatively exciting movie. It leaves out some scenes that are actually pretty important (i.e. ) and puts in stuff that wasn't in the book (i.e. ).
  20. Way too much acting, and it just never ended... I realized that particular loophole... Wii Sports may be a good introducory game, but its just so casual. I'm kind of biased because its a casual game made by Miya-friggin-moto. I never thought I would see it happen.
  21. While not a personal favorite, it seems a bit silly to label the best selling movie ever as the worst movie ever made. Sales don't necessarily correspond to quality. Look at something like Wii Sports- its one of the best-selling games ever made, but its a steaming pile of crap...
  22. Coongrats. Anyway, I did absolutely nothing all day. I ate a burger and pizza. Thats it.
