World of Warcraft Expansion Delayed
I read somewhere Blizzard is planning to release an expansion every year. Knowing Blizzard, I just don't see that happening.

NWN 2 Henchmen
Now let's see. Which NPC's actually had something to do with the storyline? In BG1, there was Imoen, and even then her actual connection was only revealed in BG2. There were Khalid and Jaheira, whose connections were simply that they were old friends of your mentor. Oh yeah, and Kivan's girlfriend was killed by Tazok. That's about the best motive of any BG1 NPC to follow you around that long. That's it for BG1 as far as I can tell. In BG2, there was Yoshimo. And later Sarevok. Did I miss anyone?

NWN 2 Henchmen
BG NPC's had little to nothing to do with the main plot, though. At times it felt a bit unrealistic that these people just kept following you around unquestioningly. I much prefer KOTOR's NPC's in that regard.

Prison justice
And yet, animals have no laws, they live in chaos and all is perfect. Why is that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because they're stupid, and thus, not egocentric. Animals live by the laws of nature, by the way. Mankind has practically forsaken nature and instinct, mainly because of his intelligence and thereby his ability to do so.

Prison justice
I pity people that blindly follow the law, not even considering that it might not even make any sense at all. Law is a human construction. That, per definition, makes it imperfect. Being a 4th year law student, I believe I'm qualified to make this statement. Of course, complete chaos would not at all offer a better solution, but still, it is something to ponder upon.

This is hardly an eye for an eye.

Lack of sleep = bad
So how do you do that? I'm one of those people that needs like at least an hour to fall asleep. I could sure use those l33t sleeping skillz.

Lack of sleep = bad
Tell me about it. I haven't had a decent night of sleep in 2 weeks, and having an exceptional high need for sleep, that makes Pope a really tired person today. I would sleep all day if only I could.

ABC Miniseries: The Lost
Lost doesn't even need a story as long as it has Evangeline

Anyone seen these shows?
Me like cliffhangers though.

Numb3rs any good? Or is it CSI-like, i.e. standalone plots?

Anyone seen these shows?
Too much shows, too little bandwith so it seems.

Anyone seen these shows?
That sounds waaaay too much like Star Trek. Which I absolutely loathe. Also, I like series with closure. A dragged out plot is lame.

Anyone seen these shows?
Is that a bit like CSI? If so, I actually prefer shows with an overarching storyline rather than a fresh little plot in each episode.

Anyone seen these shows?
Lost and Prison Break renewed my interest in tv-shows. But since 1 meager episode a week doesn't cut it anymore, I'm on the lookout for other shows. I tried Invasion, but after about 10 episodes I decided that it sucked. These are the other ones that piqued my interest, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they're any good before I start wasting $ or bandwith on them: The 4400: does this show go anywhere, or is it just another endless X-Files? The Dead Zone: same as above Oz: 6 seasons seems quite much to me, does it have closure or is it more of a soap? Alias: I read the final episodes feel a bit too forced Rome: heard lots of good stuff about this one Taken: I saw the first two episodes and I got bored, does it get better? Any others? Keep in mind that I'm not too fond of too much sci-fi, especially when there's aliens involved (which is why I didn't like Invasion and Taken all that much).

Blissful eternity
Who's to say this life is real? And I have to add: a perfect life is impossible, since the "good things" are measured by the "bad things". Or: the only way you can feel sad is if you've felt something really good before (and vice versa), so you have to take the bad with the good.

The hobbies forum........
Because this is Europe. I don't think it starts snowing that early here. And even if it did, anything up until January is bloody cold. On top of that, the nearest slopes to where I live are about a thousand kilometers from here, so it's not something I can do in a quicky.

The hobbies forum........
and if the current trend in moisture in colorado is any indication, you, like me, are only two months away from more slope action! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not really. I won't be skiing until at least January.
