Is this taking it too far?
It's less the tool and more the talent that determines how good an artist's work is. Doing something "quickly" isn't a habit I'm following, either. Workflow/effeciently with the tools is the key if you want to invest more time and energy into the artistic value of your work, which possibly means a better and more interesting game atmosphere as well.

Hair that looks decent is always a little tricky to do, especially the texture, so you might spend some time with it. I always wondered if I could have a Lara Craft like pigtail for my dwarfen lady...? Or even Bavarian style pigtails. Yes! Fully rigged, too! Because I'm a demanding customer goddamit!

Quantic Dream officially announces Heavy Rain
"Origami Killer" So, am I gonna kill people with little paper-flowers and paper-planes? Or am I gonna kill these artists? English languge, vague language.

fallout 3
Oh, people will always whine. No matter how well F3 turns out, hardcore nerds won't accept a Fallout game from Bethesda. Good that I'm not a hardcore nerd, that's my benefit. Anyways, I'm surprised the art looks genuinely hand-made now, not that generic mess I've seen from the TES games.

fallout 3
Looks good so far. Potentially the first Bethesda game I'm interested in, and probably will even buy.

That's okay, I didn't read any of your links, either. Touche.

Bioshock interview @TTLG
I'll pass. I'll continue posting infos here for the others, but I'm done with consuming media myself. Now I only need the game itself.

Id Software delivers the megaton with massive damage
No, multi-platform support = insta win. No, better graphix = insta win. The hell, Crytek 2.0 will eventually get ported to consoles, too.

How about Thief1? It's 8 bit Textures and the disturbing look of the blocky Hammerites always evoke fond memories....in a disturbing way.

Overlord
I just played through the demo. The controls are very intuitive, the performance very decent, and overall it's very funny. I'll wait for some full version reviews, it really depends how well the campaign shapes up whether I'm buying it or not. Edit: Oh you should have seen how I smashed the face of the jester to the floor while his bells ringed wildly and happily around. Whuahhh!!! Whua WHwhooo..

Pentagon Confirms It Sought To Build A 'Gay Bomb'
Gay Wars. In the times where men were men, wars were fought with honor and bloodshed. Now the so called soldiers get turned into gay pussys. And what about those soldiers who are already gay? Do they turn back into heteros eventually? This is so ridiculous.... But we live in ridiculous times, and I'll never get used to it.

Overlord
They're the developers of the AoW series, which has some fanboys. Although I never played these. Btw, the DEMO is out now!

I always felt these X games lack soul. Freelancer is still the best Space-Trader-Shooter-Whatever out there.

Bioshock interview @TTLG
Another cool video. Shows some new footage how a BD throws a splicer at a wall and other cool things, while developers are commenting on it.

Warren Spector teams with John Woo on movie-game project
No. Thief1 was Thief1. Thief Gold was just created as another cash-cow.

Warren Spector teams with John Woo on movie-game project
Pop Pop Pop Pop Lollipop! Anyways, when I've a little more time I'll by chance install Thief 1 again. Or... dammit, get Thief Gold instead if I'm at it. I bought the Original TDP at the day it was released, and there never occured a reason for me why to buy the Gold edition. Now I will. Yes.

Warren Spector teams with John Woo on movie-game project
I just don't like clunky fights with Zombies that keep coming and coming, not to mention the bad-breath-dinosaur creatures. It wasn't a game killer, but still annoyed the hell out of me.I often got lost too, with no hints where to continue....very frustrating. Thief 2 had better (and bigger) missions that suggested the player to use his tools more intensely. It also made better use of in-game hints like conversations and such. I felt more like playing a Thief rather than a mere rogue. Apart from the first TDP mission, it became worse and worse, while Thief2 kept getting better and better. Thief 2 > Thief1. Deal with the truth!

Real Breaking News: Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer
Just playing the second time now through the OC with a warlock. While I think it was a bad idea afterwards to play with a warlock because I suck so much at it, I think the trees look now much better. YES! Looking forward to the Expansion though. When was the release scheduled? September this year? I lost track...
