First Armed Robots on Patrol in Iraq
LOL that video was fun. Reminds me when I was a kid I used to terrorize the neighbors cats with my remote controlled toy car. But seriously, I doubt these robots will have some actual use in practice. Try to navigate that thing in a dark house with stairs and obstacles, or in some quick and fierce close-combat firefight. Besides, you could always take that thing out with a simple hand grenade. Waste of money I say.

Crysis is not coming out in September
November huh? The same November where Assassins Creed, UT3, Kane & Lynch, Jericho, Gears of War PC, Mass Effect, HALO3 and some other games I forgot also come out? Ouch....

Rise of the Argonauts

Rise of the Argonauts
Click Okay.... Everything I do? Does that mean if I beat up some mudcraps, the Gods will notice? Anyway, Liquid still has a special place in my heart thanks to the excellent Battle Realms, one of the most innovative and underrated RTS of all time. Also, I like the look of RoA with the wildly accentuated shapes of the characters, and so on. Can Liquid bring another sleeper hit to he RPG genre like they did with Battle Realms to the RTS genre? Who knows... They don't have a track-record as an RPG developer, but maybe that's excactly why they may approach RoA with some fresh additions. But of course it could also turn out just like any other dumb action RPG. I'll definitely keep an eye on that.

Real Breaking News: Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer
Good. Otherwise I wouldn't got excited about it in the first place.

I still don't care. I never really cared about any fan-projects, with the exception of some excellent Thief/2 mods maybe.- Age of Decadence combat video & article
That dialog sounds boring and out of place. Isn't the game supposed to play in ancient Rome, or some parallel universe at least?- RPGWatch Torment interview
I suspect it was alot easier to get into IWD. PST was a heavyweight. As for the PST combat.... I can only guess, but priorities have to be set during development. MCA was in charge, so he wanted this story element, that story element...which also means more areas for the artists to create, hence less time for doing animations. Could be other reasons too.- Age of Decadence combat video & article
I second that.- Age of Decadence combat video & article
"Award-winning"....what a joke. It's a game I believe where some Codex crew also help working on it. So....no thanks I guess.- RPGWatch Torment interview
PST combat was annoying and clunky - thanks to the neat story though I went through it the first time with fond memories. But the annoying combat adds to the "won't go through it a second time" factor quite a bit.- Bioshock interview @TTLG
Yeah, first thing I always do when I need to know the specs is to go to Amazon. Most trustworthy pro game site evahh!!!11 Why not take a look at the official system requirements instead?- Bioshock interview @TTLG
PCG UK gives Bioshock 95% OXM UK gives Bioshock 10/10 But don't believe everything you read! There still might be a great chance that the game will totally suck!!!11- Its time to downsize America
You guys have problems... Gotta eat sausages only, because if your food is shaped like the stuff that gets out again, you can't possibly get fat! Really! My ripples can't get up because my man-t1ts are in the way.- Silicon Knights suing Epic over Unreal Engine 3
No. There was some time Epic have begone working on a title called "Unreal Warfare", which then turned into Gears of War. Later they scrapped that "Warfare" designation completely. As for the law suit: What's Obsidians opinion about that matter? Does Project Georgia suffer under the same circumstances? At any rate, I wouldn't mind seeing Epic' arse burned for a change and watching Mark Rain crying, preferably in front of a camera.- Xbox 360
It's pretty hard to find a game for a console that doesn't use action one way or the other. Some are fast, hectic and twitch-gameplay-based, some use it as an effective tool to build up tension. If you seek a little slower paced, atmospheric grown-up title, I recommend Condemned: Criminal Origins for a start. Should be a bargain right now, and should not overstrain Groms lack of action-skills too much. Also look out for Bioshock and Mass Effect in the future.- Far Cry 2
Not for me. There's nothing from Ubisoft, except Assassins Creed, that got my attention.- What are you playing now?
I wouldn't recommend rebirth, most of these models look actually silly and less scary. But there's a texture mod, and some other model mod for the AIs and weapons. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the package... but it definitely wasn't Rebirth fur sure. And yes SHODANs voice is pure erotic bliss. Terry Brosius also dubbed Viconia from Thief2, the female pilot from DXIW, and other LGS/Ionstorm/Irrational legacy games. I wonder what she's doing now.- Far Cry 2
I'm not too excited. It's not even the original developer, so why getting your hopes up dear chaps?- Jericho (squad-based Action Horror game)
I never watched any of his movies nor was I interested in his work, until I heard of Undying. That game when it was released was a total shocker and still is one of the best FPS, so I'm definitely looking forward to Jericho too.- Jericho (squad-based Action Horror game)
I don't really care about Clive Barker himself, as I think he's pretentious and overrated, but Undying was a underrated gem you shouldn't miss. Now thinking of it, maybe I should replay it...- Bioshock interview @TTLG
So, here are finally some PC screenies from the menus. Click That hacking reminds me of that silly pipe-puzzle from Sanitarium.- Mass Effect hands-on impressions at E3
- Play Half-life 2 WITH YOUR BRAIN!
I wonder if I could lift up that Grandma in the wheelchair if I'd just concentrate intensily enough...Heh. Other than that, Brain-Human CUIs seem to be currently a very interesting field in Biomed Engineering and Telematics/IT. Some people at my Uni had build these Quake 3 levels where a guy with his visor could walk through sections virtually. I wonder if a blinded cripple could achieve the same in some open city traffic... - Age of Decadence combat video & article
