Where Youtube is going
Of course not. What I was doing was already legally dubious...not to mention morally. Today, if I were presented with the option of instantly doing what I've been doing over the past few years, I probably wouldn't do any of it at all. Monetizing would've been super crossing the line for me...even then, and especially now. When I finally decided to quit, it was actually kind of a relief.

Where Youtube is going
I actually just reposted the message I did earlier - I left the tab open for a little after originally posting, looked back and saw that I still hadn't had it posted...but in reality had just hit back when I had posted it. Then I deleted the message, then edited it to reply to yours.

Where Youtube is going
Well, Gmail automatically set up the "Social" tab for their inbox, so it already wasn't particularly invasive for me. If it was though I could set up labels and whatnot to filter it easily. I suppose I could do that...I disabled the tabs/categories as soon as they introduced them...

Where Youtube is going
I get emails when people comment on my videos. I'd rather not have my email spammed...the inbox worked perfectly fine. I'm also stubborn and largely refuse to compromise with YouTube, particularly since I've given up on them.

Where Youtube is going
I'm a "content creator", (I use quotes because...not really - all I do is post other people's music - close to 700 songs worth of it at the moment - whoops), and I've been trying to think up of a fitting "I quit" message for the past few months... Haven't quite gotten around to it, though...apathy is a strong (de)motivator. Honestly, the biggest thing that annoys me as a second-rate, small-time uploader...is that I can't even see new comments on my uploads anymore. It used to be a daily ritual for me, checking my inbox and looking at all the new comments people have left on my videos. Alas...YouTube's internal user inbox largely no longer exists.

Also, US residents who were registered rejoice, because your chances of getting a prototype increased by having all registered international applicants deemed inelligible. I wonder how many people that cut from the pool. If I recall the original number correctly, about half. I remember the number of eligible participants being in the mid to high 900,000s. Now it's in the high 400,000s.

POST YOUR SPECS
Yeah, guess that's what I'm planning on doing. Might have to buy a new video card soon, (my 4 year old 5770 is going bad, ), so I guess it will probably be helping fund it...

POST YOUR SPECS
Bought a 4930k new for $200. Don't have much to do with it, though, to be honest...amazing CPU, but I don't really need the performance, (evidence of that fact being that I'm still running along just fine on an old Phenom II x4...), nor do I really want to build another PC...

The weird controls you are having is most likely because the negative mouse acceleration the game has. Just another case of devs not having a clue about the differences of controllers and KB&M. These days I almost burst in tears of joy if I run across a game that doesn't have any kind of mouse acceleration crap, or heaven forbid, an actual on/off button for it in options! There are registry edits that disable it system-wide, I believe.

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
That's called Dolby Surround, you either turn off in-game 3D sound or buy a proper sound system... But there's no such option in-game. How do I turn it off? There's no baldur.ini like there used to be. Isn't there in the user documents folder?

What are you playing now?
Please spare the Daughter of Chaos. In fact, head on back down into the Chasm of the Abyss and farm 80 humanity for the poor girl. Her story is just sooo tragic *sniff*. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but that's the faction I actually joined on my playthrough...aaand then I cheated my humanity via Cheat Engine to the top 20 of the list simply to see if it would work, (60,000 was the max, if I recall correctly - whoever got there first stayed there in the order they got there). Kind of a silly faction, but it did seem to be the best singleplayer one...

Hey, I liked the ninja flip ring. Wolf Ring is alright, but I prefer to not get hit to begin with. Then again, I was also pretty much purely a dexterity character and only used the default thief outfit, (since I thought everything else I picked up either looked ridiculous or was too heavy or very likely a combination of both), so that might've affected my outlook a little...

What are you playing now?
Are you...not supposed to? I soloed everything in Dark Souls except the end game boss and the DLC content...and I didn't solo those because I kinda just got bored of the game after the fourth Lord Soul and quit. Although, admittedly, I do think that those guys were probably the hardest of the bosses that I did do. I also ended up killing Smough first, which you're apparently not supposed to do...

What are you playing now?
Why? It is being very uncooperative. If I don't turn the AI completly off, the party is acting extremly stupidly. If I do turn it off, they very often refuse to take orders at all. I don't remember having so much trouble with it when I played it back when. I do. I left the party AI on because I could not be bothered. And...given how easy the game is (on core), it's especially not worth the effort. And this coming from a guy who never used party AI in BG/IWD except by mistake...

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
I created single CD install/play .isos of of all the Infinity Engine games years ago, (and there's also an .exe modifier to disable the CD check if you did full installs that works on all of the Infinity Engine games - it also does it cleanly enough that any mods that also patch the .exe still work perfectly)...but if you're not a big fan of the fuss of modding, fair enough.

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
I still find the fact that they made/are making this very impressive...but also still think that the chances of me wanting to try and play Baldur's Gate in the NWN engine/setup to be close to nil.

Neverwinter Nights' magic missile
I know I'm not the OP, but since I still have frame issues, too...: 2x4GB DDR3, Phenom II x4 970 3.5GHz, AMD 5770, some 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive. 2013/08/30 GPU drivers, Windows 7 x64 SP1 for OS. Game doesn't run at all without being in compatibility mode (for Windows XP SP2). Getting a little on the old side, but should be way more than sufficient for silly Neverwinter Nights 1,

Neverwinter Nights' magic missile
My FPS is still kind of terrible in the original Neverwinter Nights, too. In some areas, it's alright...in others, like Blacklake, it was like 15, haha

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
Ehm, I got my copies modded to BGT and unfinished business (including download) in less than 15 minutes... So unless you make 100$ per hour, it's overpriced... And, you're definitely getting more than UB and BGT with it Yes...that's the bad bit.
