It is overgeneralization, and yes there is a lot of scum going around, but FYI, I do not enjoy neither TLoU nor TLoUII, and not because Abby... And I feel offended when someone is labeling me with such labels, because nothing is further from the truth, I would hate both of the games same, even if Abby looked like Jessica Alba... And there were a lot of good YT reviews, which were pointing to a lot of flaws of both games, without the reviewers ever playing the gender card, and these people were labeled as misogynists/transphobic etc, as well... IMO, both of the ends of the spectrum are the vile scum of gaming community... Let me go back to Kingdom Come... I do not like the game as well, but me being of Slavic origin, and knowing a little bit about our local history, I know more stuff about the time period of the piece than most of that vile scum... The game also changed into inclusion/racist propaganda, which is just wrong... People thrown **** on the game, because there were no blacks. Historic fact is, there were absolutely no blacks at rural areas in central Europe at that time. But there were a lot of people of Finno-Ugric, Turkic, Arab origin, which could be identified by current standards as people of colour, and AFAIK, these people were represented enough in the game. Still the people were throwing **** for not including different races, which had absolutely no historic background at rural areas. On the other hand, a lot of people took the game as a white supremacy propaganda, which were also omitting the fact of people of Finno-Ugric, Turkic, Arab origin being in the game as well. For me both of the sides were equally disgusting. Why? Because it is one of very few games, which are about Slavs and their history, and because I have also Finno-Ugric and Turkic (Tatar) ancestors besides others. I hate that racist took this game as a opportunity to slander People of Colour, and I also hate, that some uneducated chumps have used the game as anti-gamer propaganda because this was one of the few games which have no black characters. So should I now start a Twitter account and try to cancel maybe Ubisoft for not including Tatar people in their Assassin Creed Valhalla and call them the puppets of Putin's propaganda, because with not including them, they are supporting the oppression of Tatar people in annexed Crimea, completely ignoring the facts, that there is no historic evidence of my ancestors ever setting a foot there at the time, when the story of that game is happening or what? Sorry for the wall of text, but I am really tired how both sides are actively twisting all of the facts, to bolster their own crusade against rational thinking, and labeling all the people who might have little bit different opinions with all the different -isms...

Well, that's what you get, when trying to cater to the ever-so-divisive echo chambers of social media. On one hand you get what you've described, on the other hand you've get insulted as a homo/transphobic and misogynist, if you dared to say loud, that you did not enjoyed the story as much as you enjoyed the story of the first game . Just look at how many deaththreats got the developers of Kingdoms: Come from uneducated plebs, who had no clue, that Cumans are considered by today's standards as People of Colour, that the game lacked diversity...

IIRC, it is possible to change camera speed in newer Tales of games. -

Still playing the Fairy Fencer F for Playstation 3. On my way to platinum trophy, I have hit a very big roadblock, achievement to get 100 million gold I have already 22.5 million, but the speed of getting the money is approximately 2.5 million in an hour, and I am still missing 77.5 million, you can imagine, how much fun it is I will go back to Druidstone: Secret fo the Menhir Forest from GOG today, and while playing some other games, I will be going back to it, once in a while. Hopefully I'll get that trophy before the end of the year -
With this I agree, the process could be more intuitive. But as I said, since 2012 (I think) when I joined GOG, it was my first refund, and I found the way for refunding with few clicks.
-
Well for me, if a company has customer friendly refund system, it usually means, they are confident with quality of their products, and do not need to hide behind shady business practices to make a profit
-
Hmm, I asked for refund once, and it was literally solved in 15 minutes after I submitted my ticket

I still have my Atari 800 XL stored, including cassettes with game, but I have not tested them, if they still works or not

Really unexpected turn of events. I am really glad, that they changed their mind. But I am curious how long it will last.

Quite similar bit different issue for newest Xbox regarding being able to play games in the future. Even though I was a PS fanboy, after seeing this I am more inclined that people owning MS will have much less issues with their game library, than us Sonyists
-
Not really, you do not know, how much energy the CMOS needs from battery to stay alive. It could be few years, it could be a decade or two. It still does not solve the main issue. When the battery is done, you lose access to all of your legal purchases. And in case of PS4, including your physical media.
-
Yeah, so for me, this means no PS5 purchase until I know, that Sony fixed their systems. I can jailbreak my PS3 to circumvent this issue for me, but I have no clue about easy solution for my PS4Pro. I am pissed off, because this could completely destroy my huge PS4 library
-
Looks like the PS5 has the same issue as PS3 and PS4. As soon as your CMOS battery dies, and you can’t connect your console for some reason online, or your side of PSN servers will go down, you lose access to all of your digital games and some of your physical games as well...

Tales of games have pretty dark themes as well, especially it's take on racism in Rebirth and Symphonia. Something like that would be impossible in western games. Also in Berseria, you are essentially playing (clicking the spoiler can pretty much completely ruin the whole story for you, if you never played it, and plan to play it, I highly recommend to not click on it. I've warned you )

Few months ago, there was a big scandal, where almost every single Pro CS:GO team at the tournament cheated... Which just makes it more obvious what kind of money are in the game

If any of you like to watch competitive esport, you probably should know, which leagues to rather avoid...

Few more days of my Fairy Fencer F playthrough for Platinum Trophy. Just finished today Shukesoo’s Tower and resealed Vile God for two golden and one solver trophy, I still need to get 25 more levels and a lot of gold, before I can finish the story again -

I went back after 4 and half years to Fairy Fencer F on my PS3. I'll try to achieve Platinum trophy in this walkthrough. -
Thankfully for Arnold, he is not much interested in online gaming, it would be real pain for him to have some fun in current times

Big Flaw in Sony PS3 and PS4 DRM. As soon as Sony decides to cut of PSN support for your console, and the CMOS battery runs out, you lose access to all of your digital content. In the case of PS4, you’ll lose also your disc based content...

Another giveaway on GOG. Steel Rats

I was tempted too, but it's base game only DLCs are still too pricey

I loved it when it was released, I've never played it in modern days. People are saying, that the XIII Remake is worse than the original, even if it is outdated. I clicked on it, based on my nostalgia from the old days. I plan to replay this one sooner than later for sure.
