  1. In-between busy work life, I've managed to finish another game from my big backlog: Torchlight II from GOG. I picked Engineer class and decided to pick skills, which amplify the Cannon damage and use bot summoning. All three Acts were finished in few 1 hour long sessions, while trying to finish all the side-quests. Unfortunately, I somehow missed at least one instance of Gathering the Robot Parts one. Anyway, the game was very good way to clear my head during the latest pandemic situation and I hope the third Torchlight will be released soon and as much fun as the first two installments. Three games finished this year so far. This way, my backlog will be cleared maybe around year 2077
  2. That one is already included in the Anthem CURRENT I mean who would expected something else from EA 10 year live service plan, than to release buggy mess and bank on microtransactions for 10 years, while assigning 2 part-time junior programmers to fix that mess
  3. Still not enough until Bamco touches Tales od Destiny DC, Tales of Destiny 2 and Tales of Rebirth :’(
  4. well. for me the latter represents, how I am judging these games D2 was among my favourite games, but I'll wait how it plays out, until then, I have enough fun with Torchlight II, Van Helsing Trilogy and Grim Dawn
  5. Just keep in mind, that's it not developed by Blizzard anymore
  6. I always preferred reading about games, than watching videos about games, sooo websites going bat****crazy about whatever politics really was big letdown for me You know, I still rather read review from you guys here on OBS board, than to go watch something
  7. looks like there is a small chance, that Kotaku might be going back to it’s roots and start doing game journalism again.
  8. Just finished the second act in Torchlight II, it is getting little bit tougher by the dungeon I visit, but so far only 4 deaths
  9. Have these developers nerfed pantsu in their game after shower of Twitter Tears as well?
  10. I think Freelancer might be pretty good open-space sim, where you do not need to grind that much. But it is very long time, when I played it for the last time
  11. Hmm that means, we might get a proper Duke Nukem sequel at some point in the future
  12. Looks like my first adventuring party will be Dhampir only fugitives *cackles*
  13. Almost as big update as last year’s Madden, wow...
  14. I've finished Act 1 in Torchlight II and arrived in Zeryphesh. Game got little bit harder, and my first death happened
  15. Started Torchlight II with Engineer as a way to clear my head little bit. So far it feels easier than first game on Normal difficulty, but that's not a bad thing today Sometimes I feel like I need that kind of relax
  16. If you expect an advice from the community, I would say go for RP choice
  17. I have finished yesterday Shadowrun Hong Kong - Extended Edition Deluxe – Bonus Campaign. The bonus campaign was little bit more fight ready than the main one and less to talk. Despite me being more the guy who like to solve the things the peaceful way, I think the main campaign was to much verbose even for my playstyle So I've enjoyed this campaign more.
  18. To quote Keyrock: “I'm honestly getting pretty burned out on open world in general. Maybe it's not so much open world but instead how every AAA game has to check every single check box: Open world, RPG, action adventure, looter, survival, narrative, exploration with crafting, building, collecting, and multi-player.” And that is a reason, why I spent 10x money on Indie games than on AAA games (If you consider Dishonored and Tales of franchise as AAA) in the last 5-7 years. Worth every single cent...
  19. Aaaaaand first game in 13th month of 2020 finished Second playthrough of Tales of Zestiria – The Strength of a Knight DLC on my PS4. Pretty quick run this time. Just went for all of the treasure chest, remaining trophies and some fusing and Lord of the Land Blessing upgrades.
  20. Hmm, I completely forgot about PSP, I think that’s 6 more Japanese games and 0 western games in my collection
  21. Looks like Sony is definitely leaving the Japanese market, which made them what are they today, behind. Japanese business analyst are giving some reasoning behind, why Japanese players are losing interest in Sony. For me, this means, that I am losing interest in Playstation brand as well. Just for the lols, I have counted all of my PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 games, which I bought since PS1 era, and I have counted 106 games, out of which are 16 non-japanese made *shrugs* No more reason to pay them another 700Eur for new console and accessories then. My primary platform for western games was always PC. I’ll probably buy som nice exotic trip after the covid madness ends for that saved money. Feeling pretty sad about it, but seeing that lot of japanese games can be bought now even on GOG, I might not miss out much from this decision...
  22. Well. I really have issues with these kind of games. I like to spent few weekends playing them, but then the openworldedness became so boring, that I just can't bear myself to finish even the main story... And I say that as a guy who spent getting all battle trophies in Star Ocean 4 and platinued Final Fantasy Type-0... All power to you, if you like these kind of games, I am happy for you, but for me, it just does not work ... I never encountered this kind of issues with any of the isometric games I've played from these two developers *shrugs*
  23. Maybe not, but isometric games in their portfolio is the pinnacle of their creation. Not to mention, that open world skyrim clones are released all the time, and isometric stuff is ignored, despite having pretty big fanbase... If you choose the correct setting for your game ofc...
  24. Sigh, so they purchased the best Isometric Western RPG studios and made them make Skyrim Clones *sighs* sadpanda.jpg
