what a shame

I've just bought after 55 hours of game-time the most expensive ship in Rebel Galaxy, just few minutes after I've reached the 50 million credit net-worth. At start I was not able to get weapons for all turrets, because money of course, but it is a complete game-changer. I am now able to fight against the hardest opponents, I have also found another ultra-rare material in the space, and found out the end-game enemy race. On the other hand, I just hit 65 million Gald in Fairy Fencer F, 35 to go for the insane trophy 😄 And on Thursday, I will be attending my hardest race in Assetto Corsa Trained Monkey Modding Pilot Challenge on V.I.R. track, driving their newest mod Cupra Leon 2020 TCR . If I survive T1, I'll probably crash after tyre change, because cold tyres are extremely dangerous on this track 😄

Heh only noticed this post now, and yes, it is very similar to previous Tales games, they needed 30 - 120 minutes of initial "set-up" before the story starts to get faster pace Also same with the linear progression, which starts to open after few hours as well. Glad, you are enjoying it

I have the game, but I am crazy busy at the moment, so I have not launched it yet. All Tales had manual save on checkpoints and last two games had also a quicksave anywhere on the map, so I think, this should be the case for Arise as well.

It saves only at the end, to save the Ending Cutscene, so you can watch it next playthrough at the camp.

That might be true, but it was not thrown into your face at every corner, like nowadays... Well, you might be right, that this one particular statement might not be a sign of trouble, but anyone on any project, who is engaging periodically in Twitter nonsense is a for me always a big red flag 🤷‍♂️

And the lead writer of the project is a lady, which was very vocal on the Twitter in the past, that she does not like this game... Fastest drop on my hypemeter from 100 below 0 ever...

Well in some case you are of course correct, but at the same time, I believe, if private company is unable to pay their employees a wage, which is good enough for living decent life (e.g. not being in poverty, despite working 8 hours a day, including overtime (of course only in case that the employee is responsible with its spending), then this company does not deserve to be on the market. Just to clarify it, in Slovakia, minimum wage is around 650EUR brutto (dunno the exact number). Cost of living in our capital is somewhere around 800-1200EUR monthly for a single person. So the owner of any company in our capital, which is paying less than 800 EUR netto, should be hit in the balls with a giant hammer...

I would not say, we have properly working unions here, but I still see advantages having them in Slovak private owned companies. But I do not have any experience how their work in state owned companies. There are no bad news about them in our media, so they might not be bad as well.

This is not a union issue, but I do not agree with you, that gaming does not need a unions. I cannot judge how is this in every country, but properly working unions in a Slovak company can guarantee you up to triple monthly income, much safer and healthier working conditions, etc., etc... compared to a Slovak company, if there are no unions 🤷‍♂️

Then can you please explain to me, why the biggest culprits in the workplace misconduct are the "wokest" companies of them all? Like Ubisoft, Blizzard and now Paradox? This is a serious question... They even have Chief Diversity Officers with 6 digits salaries to take care for that, but it seems to me, they are just rotten to the core, and the CDO position is there only to cover up their ****ups...

I would not keep my hopes up for no MTX... The card mechanic is the most exploited mechanic in conjunction with loot boxes in AAA and F2P games...

Well I think you have sold another copy, I'll have to think hard about it, because as I said, my backlog grows day by day (I have the feeling it grows exponentially 😄 ) I still have few hours of the sale to buy it now, or wait until more suitable time But, being a Slav myself, I will have to buy it sooner or later 😄
