  1. And another giveaway on GOG. Just keep in mind, this one is NSFW https://www.gog.com/game/biing_sex_intrigue_and_scalpels?source=news
  2. Today Tales of Symphonia Remastered arrived in my mailbox I bet I will not be able to play it next few years, before cutting enough through my backlog
  3. No clue AFAIK, this one is remake/reboot of the Alien Breed games from Amiga era, by Team 17. So I do not expect this to have much common with Japanese tentacles
  4. Slovakia has passed in the parliament the resolution to recognize Russia as state sponsor of terrorism.
  5. Still at Tales of Arise. I have defeated Lord Ganabelt - second of Renan leaders, ruler of Cyslodia. He was sleazy **** and his laws were atrocious, and similar to what you had in communist East before 1989, or today’s Russia. Fight was harder than fight with Lord Balseph, and he was able to cast his Mystic Arte twice, which almost obliterated my party. (We are 4 already). But he is gone, and will not “suffocate” Dahnan’s of Cyslodia anymore. Even the sun has risen for the first time in 300 years after the artificial darkness was dispersed along with his defeat Also, yesterday I had my first Ranked Race during Rain in Assetto Corsa Competizione. I would not be able to to finish it, without help from a friend on Discord, who helped me to make some adjustments to setups. Despite that, I failed at qualification, as I struggled to finish a valid lap in rain conditions so I have started from the bottom of the grid The race went much better, as I was slowly able to learn how to control the car, and in the end, I have gained 9 positions during 30 minute long race
  6. Vladislav Surkov, former First Deputy Head of the Russian Presidential Administration, has said that he worked on the Minsk agreements based on the idea that they should not be fulfilled. https://www.vedomosti.ru/politics/news/2023/02/16/963213-surkov-zayavil-rasschitival-vipolnenie-minskih-soglashenii https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/02/16/7389604/ What a complete “surprise” the Minsk agreement were for Russia just a fluke right from the beginning
  7. Alien Breed Trilogy giveaway next 40 hours or so. https://www.gog.com/en/news/we_love_games_special_alien_breed_trilogy_giveaway
  8. Yes. I presume, these institutes are very well guarded and, if it was deliberate act, and if it was near enough, it still possibly disrupted the operation of the institute. But as Lexx mentioned, how “near” was not specified.
  9. West is thankfully already doing it’s job to solve it. E.g. US has signed 500million deal to manufacture shells for Ukraine. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/02/15/7389392/
  10. @xzar_monty another “accident” which manages to bring up the questions who? and how?
  11. More news about Vuhledar offensive. 130 Russian vehicles destroyed in one week. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/02/13/7389085/ and the aftermath of the offensive in Russia. Prigozhin is going full auto on MoD, magnifying the infighting inbetween Russian factions.
  12. Speaking now directly from Slovakia POW. The difference is, that the west funds here think tanks and some non-government bodies. Russia on the other hands funds/bribes politicians directly, or through special Russian foundations. Prime example would be Blaha, who is paid directly from Usmanov's foundations. Usmanov is on the sanction list as a person who funds Russian government. Usmanov also owns in Slovakia a construction company, who was winning during last 12 years significant state deals for building Highways. It is well known "leaked secret" that during these 12 years, the company who wanted to win such a big deals, which included funding by EU, have "paid back" to the people at the top of the governing parties up to 30% "royalties" I bet it is very similar in most of the Eastern EU countries, and I bet something similar might be happening in less corrupt western world as well.
  13. Because they have decided for ages to turn blind eye on rampant corruption in these countries. Paradox is, this helped pro russian and anti EU movements the most. Because surprise surprise, these are the most corrupt and take money from anywhere I know, because I live in one such country, where in the next election, might have neonazi populists in government…
  14. @xzar_monty here is another source. I have absolutely no way how to find out, if this is real or just psyops. We'll see in few weeks for sure...
  15. My bad, I think I should not have used plural. This is all from connection to gulagu.net. Anyway the above statement by Prigozhin were not aired on official Russian media, here is the translation of his interview. Which probably should not be taken seriously.
  16. Little bit of “conspiracy” that Crimean Bridge destruction was part of the Prigozhin’s, Kadyrov’ and Surovikin’s plan, to usurp the power in Russia. By Russian investigative newspaper gulagu.net. Reports say, that the name Prigozhin is now banned to say in official Russian media. And it is most likely, that he will be sipping tea very close to open window in the near future
  17. It looks like, the renewed offensive around the Avdiivka this week, the most fortified defense line in Ukraine, had even worse outcome, than in Vuhledar. They have lost more iron and bodies in that direction. There are rumours in Russian sources, that RU lost since 24.2.22 three brigades worth of equipment and manpower at this single site of the front. On the other hand, they are much more successful N of Bakhmut. They finally captured Krasna Hora, due to coordinated retreat of AFU units to avoid encirclement.
  18. Lord Balseph is down, Iron Mask has finally remembered his name again
  19. More Tales of Arise. I am having at the start of the game much more fun when I started FFXV. Hopefully it will stay that way for a long time Anyway Shionne has found new dress, and Iron Mask has found a new sword We are slowly moving to the first boss
  20. The attack at Vuhledar is just few weeks old. If we do not count the RU failure at Pavlivka, there was aa stalemate since the summer. On the other hand, RU started to push hard at Luhansk - Kharkiv Oblast borders this week. Especially at Dvorichne area near the Oskil River, where it could be said, that they had partial success at few villages. edit: assessment of the situation at Vuhledar by Russian sources:
  21. Little bit more insights on alleged Russian offensive
  22. I have no clue how it is in Czech Republic, but In Slovakia, they are related by Republika, ĽSNS, Vlasť and Smer
  23. I feel your pain. Especially the older JRPGs had traumatized even such exquisite appreciator of the genre as me in their final Dungeon. On of the worst offenders for me was Final Fantasy IV and X Anyway, 1 and half year after the release, I have finally decided to boot up Tales of Arise for the first time. And so far, I am enjoying it (only 1 hour into the game). Especially the art of the game is brilliant. I have really missed something like that in all that flood of "photorealistic" games. It's really fresh breeze for me. We'll see how the game will fare further into the storyline. I have pretty high hopes for it
  24. I wish my spouse would be like that Due to nature of my work, I have sometimes more free time, and sometimes less. Eg. I had a lot of time during the November and December, but not so much in January. I generally have much more time during the winter, than in the rest of the year. If you look at the dates, in my list, I had very very limited time to play anything in between February and June Also, due to the nature of my wife’s job, I have a lot of time to enjoy gaming every second weekend. And we do not have kids, so this gives me an extra free time as well. The list looks really long, but it is first such a long list since probably 2015 my backlog is insane On average, I think I have around 1 - 2 hours gaming time daily, depending on my job schedule. Although most of that playtime is accumulated during the weekends, when my wife is at work Sometimes I only play games on these weekends and not a single hour during the week.
