In the meanwhile, Russian MoD released this statement about situation in Bakhmut.
-
From the videos from Rostov, it looks like a lot of local soldiers joined him and there was almost no resistance against him, while taking over. Allegedly, some helicopters destroyed some vehicles in the column on their way to Voronezh (more than 70 counted in the column) and Wagners shot down two helicopters. FSB is raiding Wagner’s HQ in St. Peterburg and Moscow has implemented anti-terrorist measures. Rostov city is allegedly fully under Prigozhin’s control now.
-
In the next hours/days, we will see more lies than ever coming out of Russia, although statements like this give it some kind of weight In the meanwhile a lot of Prigozhin channels have been blocked on some Russian social medias, and his former ally General Surovikin was making an appeal to him, while holding the automatic weapon, to stop. Girkin is talking about coup already, Lukashenko allegedly have left at midnight Minsk by plane. All that is missing now, is Kadyrov

Report from Bakhmut.

TBH Nothing unexpected. History in Russian repeats itself again. This will be a ****storm for sure.

Oh yeah, by whole 0,1% or by 7200 people, what a dramatical increase... Mostly from the people of United Russian affiliated Tatars, which are helping to get rid of the Mejlis activists, which despite being outlawed in 2016, are still trying to fight against the colonial oppresion... Also unsurprisingly, you are completely ignoring, that after Ukrainian independence the figure of Crimean Tatars rose from 1,6% up to 12,6% (by 240k by absolute numbers). And also completely ignoring that in 1939 there were 218k Crimean Tatars and in 1979 5422 Crimean Tatars. One wonder, how that could ever happen in such a peaceful country as Russia?
-
Pretty much same happened to Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Moldova, and despite that, they are able to have their own free state and culture now. Ukraine and Georgia not so much, though
-
Whenever I read something about peace solution, something like this immediately jumps up my mind PS. Speaking of Crimea being a compromise, everyone ”for some reason” forgets about the way, how Crimea became “Russian”. Since Stalin laid his hands on Crimea, after conquering it, he started to deport and murder indigenous Crimean Tatar people since day one and then repopulating the area with loyal Russians to communist party and him. The latter continues up until today (just exchange Stalin with Putin). As a result, the number of Crimean Tatars dropped from 90% of local population to 5% of local population. Most of people are simply not able to grasp, that the what happened in Africa and Middle East after WW2, is slowly happening at ex soviet republics. Decolonization, and restoration of their cultural heritage. And Crimean Tatars would definitely love to end decolonized as well. Leaving them back in Russia as an appeasement for peace deal, would destroy this ambition for many decades again…

I am just laughing, while looking at the sim racing stats on LFM portal Today I have became the fastest Aston Martin GT4 driver on Brands Hatch Circuit at Low Fuel Motorsport portal It is funny, because I know, that I suck, but the game balance is currently a little bit broken, so the absolute top drivers are driving Alpine and Mercedes GT4 cars And in total, I am 1.5 seconds slower per lap than them But I am enjoying driving in that car, despite being slowpoke I would love to see the top guys driving my car, how fast they would be, compared to me

I was hyped, when I saw, that PDX finally released CKII on GOG, but 100+EUR for a game, which was initially released in 2012... no way... As I know myself, I would be willing to give 30-50 bucks for the full game from 2018, but that is over the top pricing...

During a week when Russia was posting hundreds of pictures of one destroyed Leopard from different angles, Ukraine has managed to liberate 7 settlements on two fronts. The attacks were performed with the old units during the reconnaissance at arms operations. No one still knows, where is the main UA force still hiding, and where the counter-offensive will happen. In the Russian information space, a lot of military bloggers are doomsaying about Kharkiv region again.

There is currently a lot of drama going on in Russia, atm. Looks like the same commander who was in charge of Vuhledar front, is currently in charge of Kreminna front. And it looks like with similar results. I hope he’ll get promoted to general soon. One position has become vacant lately.

There is Absolutely no way Ukraine did it, unless they wanted to turn their own southern lands into desert and incur billions more of damage on themselves, which is as stupid reason as it sounds. But for some reason, some people still choose to believe that bull**** UA was hammering Antonovskyi bridge with HIMARS for two months and all they achieved was few holes in it to hinder Russian logistics. There are dozens over dozens of photos of HIMARS strikes against the dam during Kherson offensive, and even the explosion fromRussian retreat over the dam, which Russia has shared to the world, but not a single photo from June 6 explosion. If they would exist, they will be already all over internet by Russian propaganda. Russia is controlling the Dam since spring 2022. Zelenskyi was asking international community to inspect the Dam since October as UA had intel about the dam being mined. Russian propaganda was bragging about laying mines inside of the Dam, one Russian propaganda channel has even published an interview with drunken Russian soldier, who was gloating how he was part of the mining team, and cheering that they will blow it up during winter. After the collapse of the dam, Russia has not made a single attempt on rescuing civilians on the left bank of Dnipro, and are continuously shelling the Ukraininas volunteers during their rescue operations. There is already an intercepted call of Russian soldiers speaking that Russian sabotage group was involved in this, because they wanted to blackmail UA again, but as always, they ****ed up, and caused bigger explosion as planned and caused havoc… It’s unbelievable, that after so much of evidence, some people are trying to perform all kind of mental gymnastics, to convince themselves, that it was Ukraine, who blew the dam up edit: not to mention, that Russia spent whole winter destroying heating and electricity to make whole country freeze, but NO, Russia would never attack the Dame to hurt civilians on such a large scale, right?
