Two simple things you wish to see the most in The Forgotten Sanctum
Frak replied to Mraicor's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Well, that outfit is ok. If you want to look like a catholic priest or sad Keanu Reeves. I still agree that bugarup holds the candle of truth shining a light in dark jungle of bloodthirsty fashionistas. "Cool looking robe" is an oxymoron.

Sci-Fi, Shoulder-Cam Action RPG next!
I really don't get this discussion. But then again, last time I listened to what the squirrels told me to do, I ended up at a police station. I bet you he's Sinestro in disguise.

Two simple things you wish to see the most in The Forgotten Sanctum
Frak replied to Mraicor's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I thought Kylo Ren was only wearing his hair. Hmmm, clearly I was wrong. It's robey, yep. Needs long sleeves if I have search-engined the correct image.

Two simple things you wish to see the most in The Forgotten Sanctum
Frak replied to Mraicor's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Not a trenchcoat, nor a robe. I simply say that is cotton? coat of a new design. Robes are ... robey! Yeah, that's it. Robey! And by robey I mean tied together with a cordlike thingamajick around the waist as only tackle/genital-hiding contraception. No buttons! Edit: Also, robes are loose. (Oh man, this would work so great with a danish pop-cultural reference).

Frak replied to Infinitron's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)"You can now eat your pet during combat to gain a temporary increased health". I betcha that's it.

Plea. Dear Obsidian. Please tell us the new subclasses
Probably not but it's worth a shot, as the blind archer said to the maiden. *Goes to play the T-games, Tyranny and Torchlight*

Plea. Dear Obsidian. Please tell us the new subclasses
Yeah I know. I'm whining. But I'm currently doing my first playthrough and knowing the new subclasses really means something to me. Because if one of those subclasses are my personal cream of the crop, you know, really tantalizing and such other such stuff, I might just drop my current playthrough and wait for the new DLC/subclass to drop. I've currently put the otherwise great game on hold, just because I'd hate to do a first run with less than the 'funniest/most interesting' subclass. So in the name of holy rerolls, could you please enlighten us about those subclasses? *Crosses fingers and prays to anybody but Wael*

Update #58 - The Forgotten Sanctum Preview
Probably not. At least, I would not bet on it.

Update #58 - The Forgotten Sanctum Preview
*Strokes beard thoughtfully* Interesting. How ... would ... that ... work? (Also, how do you feel about Pallegina?)

Update #58 - The Forgotten Sanctum Preview
New wizard subclass: Omnispecialist. +2 PL with each spell school, +10% recovery time with each spell school, each spell school banned. ...wait Mage of Melee. All spells are available, but can only cast one PL pr weapon crit. Get 10 crits for one level PL10 spell of your choice. :D

Update #58 - The Forgotten Sanctum Preview
Hmm, I wonder if some of the new subclasses are those that are already implemented but the player cannot access? Cipher could get "Wild Mind", for example. That would be ... wild.

The Forgotten Sanctum DLC Announcement and Steam Page - coming December 13th
Frak replied to Infinitron's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Everything dies! That's the circle of life right there. Xoti could tell you that. (And yes, most likely)

Update #58 - The Forgotten Sanctum Preview
I wanna know about the new subclasses. Because that might be a reason for rerolling my first char. Gimme that info, please.

Best roleplay builds
In defense of Skaen, he might just be biding his time, living under the oppressors thumb, waiting for the right moment to stab Woedica in the back. Edit: On second though, that seems strange to me. Skaen is about the oppressed. If he kills Woedica, then he loses his status as opressed. So he clearly cannot rebel against Woedica. She - in the immortal words - complete him.

One of Xoti's comments (when clicked)
Frak replied to xzar_monty's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I KNEW IT! Every Gaunite is basically a prostitute offering you a "little death".

One of Xoti's comments (when clicked)
Frak replied to xzar_monty's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Wait what? I hear it as straight up polite. I gather from this thread that's its mainly a southern USA and european thing, but the 'greeting' is fairly common here and there. We literally have the same greeting in my country. It's just a common greeting with no salacious meanings. Xoti is just being nice.

Finally some sales evidence
Frak replied to no1fanboy's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)This might be people just waiting for the bugs to be ironed out. I have bought the game, but I'm not playing it until much much later. Mainly due to bugs and DLC's

Finally some sales evidence
Frak replied to no1fanboy's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Hmm... what if Aloth reawakened and what we see now is yet another personality? Ohhh, now you are - as we say here - twisting it. I did not see that one coming. Aloth v3, I like it ;-) Maybe he's possessed by spirit that doesn't want to us to know he's possessed? And Iselmyr is trying to warn us? I must pay more heed to the hidden clues in Iselmyrs ramblings.

Finally some sales evidence
Frak replied to no1fanboy's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Easy: Eder took one too many blows to the head and has combat-related amnesia. Re-learning through muscle memory Aloth: Iselmyr (they are in harmony in my save-state) happened and he ... uhh ... something an event involving about Ymir-lookalike, sex and a magic spell during that went horribly awry. Is totally repressed about anything magic and sexy-time. Pallegina: Traumatic experience ("Republics deserted me, wahhhh.") means she just a bird in a breastplate and conviction strong enough to become a new sith-lord. A chickenshield that has to learn how to fight.

Final DLC release date?
Frak replied to MotelOK's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)The players can also avoid hitting the cap by not playing the game at all. The only way to win, is to deny it battle. Oh great. Are spoiler-warnings no longer in fashion. *Stops watching War Games*

How to play Evil?
I suck at playing evil, but I would find greed a good reason for accepting sidequests. Pure greed. You need the Soules to buy the expensive chocolate you so love to drown virgins in, thereby combining both main course and dessert as you cook them later with spices.

Only a few hours in, not liking it much
Frak replied to skyrimer's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)We ... we cannot be seen together anymore. Stick it out. Pro-tip: You don't HAVE to bring Pellagina in your party. She's the ultimate partypooper. Just kill her!
