I really don't get this discussion. But then again, last time I listened to what the squirrels told me to do, I ended up at a police station. I bet you he's Sinestro in disguise.

Not a trenchcoat, nor a robe. I simply say that is cotton? coat of a new design. Robes are ... robey! Yeah, that's it. Robey! And by robey I mean tied together with a cordlike thingamajick around the waist as only tackle/genital-hiding contraception. No buttons! Edit: Also, robes are loose. (Oh man, this would work so great with a danish pop-cultural reference).

Yeah I know. I'm whining. But I'm currently doing my first playthrough and knowing the new subclasses really means something to me. Because if one of those subclasses are my personal cream of the crop, you know, really tantalizing and such other such stuff, I might just drop my current playthrough and wait for the new DLC/subclass to drop. I've currently put the otherwise great game on hold, just because I'd hate to do a first run with less than the 'funniest/most interesting' subclass. So in the name of holy rerolls, could you please enlighten us about those subclasses? *Crosses fingers and prays to anybody but Wael*

Best roleplay builds
Frak replied to Zaris's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
In defense of Skaen, he might just be biding his time, living under the oppressors thumb, waiting for the right moment to stab Woedica in the back. Edit: On second though, that seems strange to me. Skaen is about the oppressed. If he kills Woedica, then he loses his status as opressed. So he clearly cannot rebel against Woedica. She - in the immortal words - complete him. -
Wait what? I hear it as straight up polite. I gather from this thread that's its mainly a southern USA and european thing, but the 'greeting' is fairly common here and there. We literally have the same greeting in my country. It's just a common greeting with no salacious meanings. Xoti is just being nice.

Hmm... what if Aloth reawakened and what we see now is yet another personality? Ohhh, now you are - as we say here - twisting it. I did not see that one coming. Aloth v3, I like it ;-) Maybe he's possessed by spirit that doesn't want to us to know he's possessed? And Iselmyr is trying to warn us? I must pay more heed to the hidden clues in Iselmyrs ramblings.

Easy: Eder took one too many blows to the head and has combat-related amnesia. Re-learning through muscle memory Aloth: Iselmyr (they are in harmony in my save-state) happened and he ... uhh ... something an event involving about Ymir-lookalike, sex and a magic spell during that went horribly awry. Is totally repressed about anything magic and sexy-time. Pallegina: Traumatic experience ("Republics deserted me, wahhhh.") means she just a bird in a breastplate and conviction strong enough to become a new sith-lord. A chickenshield that has to learn how to fight.

Final DLC release date?
Frak replied to MotelOK's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
The players can also avoid hitting the cap by not playing the game at all. The only way to win, is to deny it battle. Oh great. Are spoiler-warnings no longer in fashion. *Stops watching War Games* -
How to play Evil?
Frak replied to Hazmy's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I suck at playing evil, but I would find greed a good reason for accepting sidequests. Pure greed. You need the Soules to buy the expensive chocolate you so love to drown virgins in, thereby combining both main course and dessert as you cook them later with spices.
