*wheezewheeze* It's almost too good to be true! :D I guess this means they'll have to go on an 8 game losing streak to compensate. Shhh, they'll do no such thing. What's really amazing is that they're only 3 points out of 2nd place in the conference, and only 7 behind Ottawa for 1st. Well, given Ottawa's recent collapse, I guess it's not that amazing.

Four in a row for the Leafs. The thin air up here is getting a little tough to breathe... also have to note the hat trick for Antropov.

I've NEVER had that damned function make a game play when it wouldn't before. Same here. In fact it always seemed to make things worse. to fishdogg: Are you running the 2 cd version of Torment, or the 4 cd version. If it's the 2 cd version, did you patch it? Because the 2 cd is already patched, and applying the patch again causes problems.

I remember that discussion. One of the few times I started a topic. I was spending the summer in California back then, and had no access to PS:T myself, being 1500 miles away from my own pc. Sigh, the good ole days on the BIS boards. Thanks, Krezack.

Woohoo, Bell gets his first goal, Blake finally scores another, Mats stretches his points streak to 15 games, breaking an 83 year old team record, and the team wins two in a row. What lofty heights we've reached.

Intertesting. Peddie was always seens as Ferguson's big supporter in the ownership group, which is why he's lasted this long. What's scary is that, should Ferguson be fired, the team is considering something like this as an alternative. Some good hockey minds mentioned in there, I guess... but, a committee? How wonderfully easy that will make it to get things done.

The live version from his "One More Car, One More Rider" album is very good. Tin Foil Phoenix - Man Of Constant Sorrow

No. The rest of Sigil doesn't forget about you, as you can discover by speaking to random hive dwellers out in the streets.

The sidequests are gone unless you do.

Just to add a bit to that: EDIT: About the riddling skeleton; if Nameless One's INT is too low to figure out the riddles, you can boost it with cranium rat charms. I believe the dead nation merchant has 3 for sale, and their effect is cumulative.

Platter's Torment Fixpack This site used to have the Tome O' Cheats available. The Tome was an item you could keep in your inventory and use in-game to raise/lower stats or give yourself spell scrolls or healing items, etc. It was kinda cool. But I don't see it in the downloads section anymore. Still, there are lots of other good things on the site to check out. Aha... just found Bootstrike.com. Didn't think this site was still running, but glad it is, as there's some good stuff here too... including the Tome O' Cheats and the Restoration Pack.

Things are pretty tight in the eastern conference, but as inconsistent as the Leafs have been, they're managing to stay around .500. Not great, but... could be alot worse. Anyway, Mark Bell returns from his 15 game suspension for Tuesday's game in Ottawa. I read somewhere that Maurice said he will get "4th Line minutes" for awhile ... I would guess until he gets into game shape. Hopefully all his troubles are behind and he can score some goals like he did in Chicago.

^I dunno, but I'm liking it. First time this season I've had a Saturday off and been able to watch an entire game. Why can't the Leafs and Toskala play that well consistently?

Bram Stoker's Dracula. I enjoyed this movie when it first came out, despite Keanu Reeves. Now I have the feeling I should have left the rose-coloured nostalgic memories alone... although Gary Oldman saves it. Also just beginning my new "definitive gold box edition" of Twin Peaks. I don't care for alot of David Lynch's stuff, and don't remember seeing anything since "Lost Highway" (which I wish I could forget. Bill Pullman should never have been allowed to act.), but I loved Twin Peaks, and still do. The box set contains all 29 episodes, and both the US and International versions of the Pilot. The International version was meant to be a stand-alone "movie" and wraps up the mystery of who killed Laura Palmer at the end, by splicing bits of other episodes together. It was kinda lame... but oh well, still nice to have a complete set. Also have the Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me movie for when I'm done with the tv show.

I didn't put that there. I would have misspelled thaumaturgist.

finished Portal yesterday. purchasing the orange box was worth it just for the end credits theme song ...okay i'm exaggerating a bit, but it was stuck in my head all day at work yesterday. got the day off tomorrow so i'll be installing MotB and beginning a new campaign of the entire OC.

Just finished Halflife 2: Episode 2. The game is amazing, even on my less-than-cutting-edge system. , and the unfolding story overall, and am very much looking forward to Episode 3. Am now playing through Portal, and it's great. I saw an article on planethalflife, that explains how to get the Portal gun into Halflife 2. I think I might give that a try.

Best part of Ravenholm. Didn't realize I could do that til 3rd or 4th playthrough. Sure saves the ammo, and looks cool.

I've got a core 2 duo processor, and I ran into this problem with kotor 2 as well. funny thing about it was, it didn't happen right away, but only after i'd played almost all the way through peragus, after having exited and restarted the game several times. anyway, i didn't have to turn off one of the cores to fix it. all i had to do was uninstall and re-install the game, and it's worked fine ever since, including 2 complete playthroughs and perhaps 1/3 of another. could try just doing that.

Unless they write him some non-whiny dialogue.

Question about Types of Lightsabers
mr insomniac replied to DistortedTruth's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you max out your two-weapon fighting feats, yes. -
What I thought was kinda interesting during the dialogues was that when you picked an option, your character would say something different than what you picked. For example, at the end of the trailer your dialogue option was, "you don't deserve to live," but your character says (something like), "Too many people died here today Fist. You don't walk away." I kinda liked that, and I wonder if spoken dialogues change based on how you play, or how your character develops, or what you learn through the game, but when you're choosing which dialogue option to click on, that choice remains a more generioc one. But yeah, the game looks cool.

Just finished Kotor 2 as a darksider for the first time. DS force powers are tremendously fun, and I thought all the comments from NPCs about how terrible I was looking were a nice touch, heh. Am waiting for the weekend now to begin another NWN2 campaign.
