  1. The Soviet Union having lots of puppet governments on your post-apoc plane. Mostly with people worshipping the Gods of Communism, like Karl Marx and Vladmier Lenin. People not knowing much about the other plane from which they come from, but loving the Soviet Union due to its awesome technology.
  2. Guess I might as well throw in the True Sith are holocrons theory. I agree with KB though. Sometimes an enemy that appears out of nowhere to justify a story is just that, an enemy that appears out of nowhere to justify a story. Note though, Bioware wants to have its own IP, so I doubt it will ever make K3. Or even K3 will get made. /shrugs
  3. Exactly. However, what if you like the world being the way it is? All its flaws and all? Do I just go back to sleep?
  4. There are two thing you can do: 1) Pray to the "Person Running the Simulation" to grant you a utopic life and get the milloniaress to propose to you. 2) Try to Escape from the Simulation. How? I don't know. Maybe ask that "Person Running the Simulation" to disconnect you?
  5. Okay. I'm writing a small novel about the alignments of Law and Chaos battling each other in a modern-day City. Fun. The themes I will be dealing with is conterverisal, so, um, I best hope everything will be okay. Anyway, you may be wondering why the battle between Law and Chaos? Why not Good and Evil? Well, to tell you the truth, the battle between Good and Evil is stupid and overdone. Plus, there is no objective definition of what is good and evil outside of D&D, and you can easily say, "I'm good!" or "I'm evil!" and offer justifications for it. Hopefully, Law and Chaos has some more specific rules, and can be determined more "objectively". So, what I want to know is how you define Law and how you define Chaos. Hopefully that may help me in that Untitled Novel Project I'm writing.
  6. You know that squeaky dude that tells you your relationship and tells you that the Exchange wants to kill him? If you got the creds to spare, just go and bribe the squeaky dude to make the Exchange hate you. Walk around a bit. When you see the Red Esciple come take your ship, then you are almost there. Liberate your ship and then you'll get your message from the Exchange. Traditionally, the way to get past the Exchange is to get them to LOVE you or HATE you. You get them to love you by helping the Exchange and you get them to hate you by ruining the Exchange.
  7. I think all you have to be is have a Light Side or Grey Alignment. It does not matter if you kill or save the Jedi, just your alignment. Dark Side ending is far better than the Light Side ending, IMHO, due to the implications of you "inheriting the dark throne".
  8. Didn't the Ewoks already die at the end of ROTJ? The Death Star detonated near Endor, causing for a nuclear winter that killed off all Ewoks...I'm not sure if George Lucas would want to show a radioactive wasteland and dying Ewoks... http://www.theforce.net/swtc/holocaust.html
  9. People talk about the crimes of Anakin Skywalker, but not of Padm
  10. But the apperntice have handcuffs! HANDCUFFS![/mock] In the end, Vader's apperntice will gain much fanboys, as...why wasn't Revan able to Force Choke someone and then throw him into a bridge like Vader's lackey was able to? Or use the Force for a ton of other powerful tricks? ...Why do I picture slasher fan fics in the near future where this Apperntice is going to end up being a descendant of Revan?
  11. ...When it says, "A Long Time Ago..." It does not mean Revolutionary Era!
  12. Darth Solo. Only name I can think of that works. Darth Krayt also sounds like a nice one as well.
  13. Exile: "Hey, go on a date with me." Mira: "No way, you're ugly." Exile: [Force Contorl]"Go on a date with me." Mira: "Sure. Want to come over to my bunk afterwards?"
  14. ...Nah. Some people, like Allornix, do a LSF Revan and a DSM Exile, seeing it as the best game, which I might agree with, and some wants to see what would happen if a LS Revan and a DS Exile work together, or a DS Revan and a LS Exile. Have alignment be selected seperately. I'd agree. It might be the only time I'd allow homosexual compaionship...to save the developer time and to have a DS Romance option. I can see the Wimp and the Sadist hates you...if you love the Sadist and his infulence goes up, the Wimp hates you and his infulence drops, and vice versa. Might be possible to romance with both people at the same time thoug...
  15. Remember, if you download TSLRP, if you are female and you turn Atton to the DS: Also, see to it that you make Atton angry at Disciple in the origianl game to get some 'confrontational' scenes between Atton and Disciple.
  16. The Only Villian that Won: Darth Traya. -Get revenge on the Sith Lords: Check. -Saved the galaxy from destruction by Darth Nihilus: Check. -Destroy the Jedi Masters: Check. -Reveal Atris' Corruption: Check. -Train The Exile To Fight the True Sith: Check. -Form a New Jedi Order, Using The Exile To Train the Lost Jedi: Check. -Prove Her Teachings Right: Check. She failed in destroying the Force, but she has done a lot more lasting stuff...and it seems as though prehaps she didn't want to destroy the Force, but rather, want to destroy its will, using the Exile as a "force god". But this is minor specualtion. Regardless, Kreia "won". She destroyed the Sith, the Jedi, and all her enemies. Even Palpatine lost in the end, when the good guys killed him after ruling for 30 years. Kreia is the only person to have lasting implications. Kreia even wanted the Exile to murder her, to help prove her teachings right. Her plan involves the death of herself as well! Now, is that devotion to her cause and what?
  17. You have 3 'endings' (But only two cutscenes, either a LS blowing up the planet, or a DS sparing the planet), but it is quite assumed that you will NOT go back into exile. You are a powerful Jedi, and you just want to go and sulk away, especially with the True Sith preparing to rampage? So, you have two endings: Create a new Force Using Order and find Revan. So, let us assume you do both. Easy trigger too: If Exile is LS, a new Light-Sided Jedi Order is formed. If Exile is DS, a new Dark-Sided Jedi Order, prehaps even a Sith Order if developers want to really be daring, is formed. Regardless, a Jedi Order is formed, and you can easily drop down and say that the new player be a Jedi Padawan in said Order. The only difference between the two alignments is that would the Jedi be goody two-shoes or Atris/Vrook bastards.
  18. Remember what balance ACTUALLY Means. To George Lucas, Balance is "spritual balance". George Lucas is a Jedi fanboy, so that means that the Force should be totally aligned to the LS. So, all dark side taint must be removed. Palpatine is DS. Luke Skywalker turned Anakin to the LS, and then Anakin balanced the Force by killing off Palpatine. No more Dark Side taint. ...THE END. ((What? EU? Oh who cares!)) If I was George Lucas, I'd have Palpatine be the "Chosen One". He's the one that 'brings balance to the Force', by destroying the Jedi...and later the Sith (by his own incompetence). The Force is perfectly aligned, allowing for the rise of a Grey Jedi Order, led by Luke Skywalker.
  19. Movies> Mace Windu. Just a mindless killer, which in essence, is a Sith in all but name. Games> Gotta be Master Vrook. He represents the soul of the Jedi. Though, you should have added Disciple as well, he also represent how the Jedi really are.
  20. "Canon" DS first, then LS 'for fun'. After all, SW is filled with too many stories about the good guys prevailing. We need some anti-heroes, and if the KOTOR series allows us to choose, then let us choose. Well, I think it is a bug to destroy the console. I don't think you can at all.
  21. Actually, I think it was necessary. And reasonable. Obisidan made reasonable choices: A LS person always do LS acts, like redemption. A DS Person always do DS acts, like killing. A Female Revan always love Carth. A Male Revan always love Bastila. HK-47 is always bought. Canderous always get left behind by Revan (according to cut content, Revan either cried or laughed at Canderous). Okay, why is it.."necessary"? Well, it sort of reflected your choices, somehow. It makes you feel as though they ACTUALLY care if you are LS or DS, instead of just having Atton say: "blah, blah, blah" and then no more focus on Revan and Exile, with everyone forgetting. It is these small background details that help characters see the effect of Revan and Exile. Do I hate it? Of course! I dislike having "canon" LS and DS fates. But, well, it is needed as to have people think Revan and Exile are important and that their alignment choices mattered somehow (for example, Ajunata would have been redeemed if Revan was LS...it provides evidence to LS fans that Revan is indeed a great person. Same thing if Ajuanta was smashed) . It also adds replayability value, and it is "reasonable" to assume the following things happen. Just DON'T Over-Canonize LS and DS fates. Having Carth being an admrial if Revan is LS, Cede if Revan is DS is also good. Bastila was probraly added in as to go and provide some sort of romanctic interlude added in, showing why they care. Plus, it is somewhat logical to assume that. (If you didn't do romance with Bastila and Carth, well, assume you did it right after the victory celebrations in K1.) Sure you can. Revan is LS, volia! Revan does all LS acts that most Light Side players would do. Revan is DS, volia! Revan does all DS acts that most Dark Side players would do. Same thing with Exile. Don't make petty references to past events, just go and focus all your efforts on the story. Don't go on an tangent about Jhunai, focus on the True Sith! ...We done it ONCE in TSL, what makes you think this would be any different or harder? Flipping switches, adding in seperate dialouge: (LS) "Revan cried when I lost my gizka.."/(DS) "Revan tortured me for showing weakness when I lost my gizka". It's all simple.
  22. Did you pay that Furry Dude? If so, just walk around...they'll notice you. Go all over the place, so that you can trigger certain cutscenes. Anyway, you know you are doing right when you get the Red Esiciple to come and steal the Ebon Hawk. When that happens, report back to the Ebon Hawk and deal with the Red Esciple. Kick them out and then you'll receive the comlink.
