Thank you for typing text into my internet "mouth". I never said I was happy about it. Just stating the facts. That part does not have to wait an additional time they would get it in the same amount of time, either way. How many times do I have to say that, man? Seriously now.

I'm not advocating the decision. I merely pointed out the logical fallacy you appear to have fallen into...sort of like a pit with smooth walls in your case. They will release the DM Client. Either buy the game when it comes out, or wait until the Client comes. They are not going to hold back the completed single player and tool set, just because one feature isn't ready. Waiting a bit longer IS going to happen for those who want the DMC, but it'd be the same amount of time if Obs held the game back. What part of that is hypocritical?

I wasn't planning on responding untill I saw all those cheers for OE for releasing incomplete and cut games. Lovely from the same people who bash LA for doing it with Kotor2. Or those who complain about the fact Devs rush for PC-games "because they can stick it in a patch" Hell, if you hate it devs rush out games because any flaws can be patched why cheer if OE does the exact same thing... ONLY ON A BIGGER SCALE... HELL, did nobody learned from Half-Life 2's DEATMATCH DEBACLE? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did you completely miss everything I said...or just ignore it? And no, I don't remember any debacle. I was too busy playing the game to notice anything.

Why, in the name of everything are you posting in here to attack a game you don't plan on buying or having anything to do with at all? Wook, they're not advocating the loss of content, or pleading for buggier games, they're providing a nice, logical argument that neither you or Volo seem to understand. There is no difference, zero, between holding the game back another month to include the DM Client and releasing it a month before, when everything else is ready, then giving us the Client a month after. It's the same amount of time. You lose NO time, whatsoever. Both of you, take two seconds to think about that. And no, it doesn't matter what you think about Obs. "screwing their fan base", because it just doesn't make sense. You get the same content at the end of the same amount of time. I'm not about to be screwed into waiting for a game I reeeeeeeally want, just because they want to cater to people who can't understand a simple bit of logic. To repeat; It makes no difference. They will release the DM client, but you'll just have to wait...like you would have to anyway if they held the game back. God, most of this thread just seems like bashing for the sake of bashing.

More likely, he's got a more tactical mind when it comes to combat...I'd view Mr. Hades as being an officer commanding from far behind the lines than one in the field. As Darque said, to each their own.

I didn't know this was Vista exclusive until about a minute ago. Microsoft is a bully...a big mean, money grubbing bully. And Vista had damn well better be worth the system resources, or have a lite version available or something.

This thing says I'd survive. Nope. I'd most likely wind up being eaten alive by mutants when they trick me into saving their "kitty" from a tree...only the "kitty" is actually a cougar melded with a rat and some little blonde girl, and none too pleasing to look at either...80lbs of patched fur and skin, gleaming red eyes, and strikingly curly blonde locks... I'll die screaming something like "Why, lil' shnookums?! WHY!?" amid spraying gore and acid hairballs. It'll be fun.

@Numbers Sorry again for the misunderstanding and my subsequent reaction to your's. One last flailing stab in the dark here. The burning building scenario is just a prefered avenue of death, not something I believe will happen now or ever. It's just a preference, admittedly naive and foolhardy, but still a preference. I even said that I'd like to do it more toward middle age...mid to late age upon further thought...to end my life with a bit of nobility rather than gradually wasting away. In regards to the military that's still my reason, for a situation like the current Iraq "war". If I were to be sent off, thousands of miles away, for a purpose I didn't believe was worth the involved effort, I'd have to consider a different career. I know there are military jobs much closer to home, but... #1. I may be pretty thin, but I'm by no means fit. Gaunt would be a better word. #2. Somehow, getting screamed at constantly, or told to "take that hill" just doesn't sit well with me. #3. I'd rather not kill somebody unless I absolutely-no-choice-involved-I'll-die-if-I-don't-do-it have to. And yes, the distinction between the job itself and seeking purposely has been noted.
