The recharging energy shield in Halo makes a lot more sense, within the story, than a continuous supply of morphine, or CoD 2's magical regeneration.

I don't think in HL2, but in FEAR, if you get below 25 health, it'll regenerate up to it.

I'd suggest saving your money, since that won't do much for newer games...not much at all, and is already at the lower end of "low end".

Good point. That eventually happens with all new forms of media. They find they can fit more onto the disks, so produce more information to fill them. Pretty soon either HD-DVD or Blu-Ray will become the "New kid on the block" and then the next bit of technology...etc...etc. ad infinitum. Doesn't mean you shouldn't capitalize on the current technology so long as it's affordable.

Only happens sometimes. Usually doesn't drop below 25. Right when I boot up and am standing in a town, it'll drop, then come back up again.

Oh yeah. It's preeeetty. :D It gets into the 15+ area in cities though for some reason.

Eh, haven't seen a need for anything higher, since AA and AF are maxed and all.

I wouldn't say perfect, but I'm not running on the highest resolution though either. 1024x768 is fine for me, everything else, but shadows (Set at middle for Int. and Ext.). I don't get any sudden drops in that area. Stays in the 100s. I've got a P4 3.2 Extreme addition dual-core.

Good arguments. But I could SO attatch war claws, armor of some type (Gotta be light though, like...oh, say, Mithril. :cool: ), and since I'm drawing my particular Gryphons from Mercedes Lackey's books... I get a talking, mindspeaking, spellcasting badass mount. ^_^
