  1. @ Chaoticlusts "I'm fairly sure the bug involved in this one is simply a UI bug not a mechanics one." I am aware of this, however.. a UI bug is still a bug. I know full well that all of the items with the 0% chance still work properly, but the UI problem still needs to be addressed - and the devs can't address it if they don't know about it, or know which items are being affected. "Might contribute some I've run into if that's ok?" Please do. As stated, I'll add any issues other people report in this thread, so long as I'm able to recreate (and thus confirm) the issue - which I will try to do - or if multiple people also confirm that they've experienced the same issue. "Also with armoured grace you may have already seen this but the full explanation for it is in the attack speed mechanics thread" I know this, but PoE2 brought in many new players who are unfamiliar with PoE or Obsidian game mechanics. Many of these new players either can't or wont look up information outside of the game, or just plain don't know where to look for information. These new players need to have this in plain, simple in-game text. "The skill says it reduces armor penalty by 25%, but it doesn't.", for example. I'm a PoE veteran myself, with well over 500+ hours logged already between both games - hence my only playing on PotD difficulty - but I know not everyone can claim the same. "Also great thread P.P.S thank you soooo much for the heads up on crew experience limitations, I was literally just about to set off on a bounty spree to try and get a lvl 4 helmsmen which wouldn't have worked so well without knowing that" Thanks. I'm glad you find my contributions helpful. Cheers!
  2. Updated: More added to "Items and Equipment" - mostly more starting armors that cannot be dyed. More added to "Gameplay (General)" - more companion relationship issues.
  3. You need to go to the back/main altar, where a certain.. event plays out (that is not linked to the weapon), and rest at that altar with the cudgel as your active weapon.
  4. ....Hitting things with weapon (or unarmed) attacks restores/builds focus. These attacks can be either melee or ranged. Cipher is not a "pure caster" class. You also begin each combat with a certain amount of "initial focus" that is determined by what type of Cipher you're playing - Soul Blade's get less, Ascended get more, and Beguilers and no subclass Ciphers get a medium amount. You can also regain focus by smacking/shooting barrels and the like, so long as its an "attack" (be it weapon or unarmed) and not a "cast". i.e. basic attacks and martial class skills.
  5. You also immediately bypass the encounter in Boot-Stuck bog if you happen to be playing as a Nature Godlike, as the guy recognizes you as being an aspect of Galawain. That could be what's causing your issue. As for the skills, abilities and boons (etc) remaining even after reloading, it's already been noted that in many cases, you actually need to fully exit the game to cause a change. For example, if you start one playthrough with Aloth working to dismantle the Leaden Key, and then another with Aloth function as the new cult leader of the Leaden Key... If you switch between the two different games without exiting the game first, Aloth will maintain whichever dispositions he had in the game you loaded first (i.e. either Pro-Leaden Key, or Anti-Leaden Key). Try exiting the game, then load the save from before getting the boon when you restart the game. That should clear it up. Probably not the answer you're looking for, but at least it works.
  6. Updated (again) More arms and armor issues, and Soul Blade non-Cipher spell kills Added "Skills and Abilities", updated "Items" tab to "Items and Equipment" to cover a wider field.
  7. Updated and cleaned up the thread so it isn't just a big wall of text.
  8. Sadly, many aspects of naval combat are still a big buggy. Well, some far more than "a bit" on the buggy side. Thankfully, it seems the devs are aware of this and have stated that they'e doing what they can to resolve the issue(s). I have many of them listed in my thread, but here's a few more examples (all of which the devs are aware of); Crew cannot advance beyond a total of four "stars" between all of there known skills (except Emeine who starts with a total of 5 "stars", but cannot go any higher in any of them - mine's got over 250 sailor experience, but is still only a rank three cannoner, for example). Choosing to charge the enemy and skip the naval combat minigame results in huge amounts of damage to hull, sails and crew. Far more than simply spamming "Full speed ahead" and ramming them. Choosing to charge and skip the naval combat minigame results in far less naval experience for your crew than doing the minigame, even if you just spammed "Full speed ahead" until you ram them. If you damage an enemy ship in the naval combat minigame and they (or you) flee, the enemy ship will get a full heal and restock, and will be placed very close to your ship so they can just attack you again and again until you get out of the ships patrol area. And, you don't get any ship supplies (repair supplies, cannonballs or medicine) for boarding an enemy ship, despite stripping everything else off the ship including enemy clothes and an occasional cannon (lol).
  9. That happens with a variety of weapons, especially when it comes to Maia (sadly). Seems to mostly only apply to ranged weapons though. "Three Bells Through" (a unique arquebus) fires an "aoe" line attack as it's basic attack (not "foe aoe", so it can hit allies), and according to the description it can hit up to 3 targets per shot. So I figured combining it with Driving Flight would wreck clumps of enemies. It does, but it also chunks ally health too, and the Driving Flight bounces cause the (new) line to target back to Maia, making her shoot herself. It's quite funny, but... not very combat effective. My suggestion for a Maia weapon is to use Frostcaller, a unique warbow found in the woods just west of Neketaka. You'll need a few points in Survival to be able to follow the tracks to get to it, and there's a pretty tough fight involved (its on the corpse). However, the weapons basic attack fires a staggering twelve projectiles, with +20-25% frost damage (each). She uses it to devastating effect, especially if you went Scout (Ranger + Rogue) path for her. Twelve projectiles + Driving Flight + Deep Wounds = a massive cascade of damage numbers every time she fires.
  10. I already have this listed on my thread, and devs are looking into my list. It generally happens when you level up, and it happens regardless of how you unlocked the third (or fourth) weapon sets or extra quick item slots. Thankfully it just dumps them into the characters personal inventory, rather than dropping them into your stash where it'll take you a month to find them again.
  11. Try adding these to my list "Bug - Various I haven't seen listed so far", since it's being observed by devs. If I can replicate them myself, or if enough others verify the same issues, I'll make sure I add them to the actual list. ...Never bothered to try "backstabbing" with a blunderbuss. I may have to try that, simply for comedic value.
  12. I already have this listed in my thread - it's being observed and they're looking into it. Cheers, mate!
  13. Updated: Added 24-28 True, however you'll also be losing an infinite amount of money as well. Since you'd need to constantly be restocking your ship, buying food and drink, paying your crew, not to mention buying additional supplies for your party. Items don't sell for that much, and if/when they fix the issues with leveling crew, I'm pretty sure some crew can get pretty expensive - I'm already paying 73 copper to my crew per day, so it balances out.
  14. Updated: Added 23 So far I've found ONE crew member who has a grand total of 5 stars across her entire skill spread - the cannoner you find in Brass Citadel - as she starts with 3* in cannon, 1* in helmsman and 1* in deckhand. However, she's also never gained a rank since I've been using her, which has been most of the game.
  15. I have that listed in my thread. Similar effects like that are happening with a LOT of unique weapons. "Scepter of Wael" for example shows a "0% chance to cast a random Illusion spell on enemy on Hit" in the description, for example. They know, and hopefully proper levels will be shown soon. Cheers!
  16. Yeah - this was an issue in PoE1 also. When it comes to leveling Soulbound items, your generally better off finding a relatively weak clump of enemies and having that one character run in and solo the group. Just bring Xoti and/or Tekehu (and/or Pallegina if you went Herald path with her), set them on Cautious for combat skills, and disable there auto attacks while leaving them in the back. They'll flood whoever is leveling a Soulbound item with buffs and heals. Disable whoever is leveling the soulbound items combat abilities, but leave auto-attack on. I got Magistrate's Cudgel leveled up in a single fight. ....Then again, I'm playing an Oracle (Druid + Cipher) so I'd just use Whispers of Treason to charm the last enemy before it died, so my backline would heal it back up over and over. lol Fun Fact: If you add a second copy of the weapon via console and dual wield them, only the cudgel in your primary (right) hand will get credit for damage to Judged enemies. Just saying. lol
  17. It ticks back into proper position as soon as any supply item is used (a cannonball, repair materials, or medicine) - I've had it happen a few times and thought it was just the fact that I'm playing on a low-end PC.
  18. Updated 22 to reflect that this oversight applies to all Flame Naga, not just the ones in a single location.
  19. I've gotten a few interactions with Vela - usually on the Junk, with Captains Quarters upgrade - if it makes any difference. One interaction between her and Eder involving boots, crabs and saltwater brought quite a smile to my face.
  20. No problem, Jorge, and thanks for the feedback. When you enjoy something, you try to make it even better. This is sort of my stress test on the full release. I don't need any sort of compensation for it, outside of the knowledge that I'm making the game more enjoyable for everyone. Cheers!
