  1. Such personal attacks are meaningless and downright rude. If you want to act as a juvenile go somewhere else and let those who have the maturity to have a civil discussion have some peace while doing so.
  2. Yes, because I have certain expectations when I get a game and one of those expectations when I bought KotOR was that I was buying a SW d20 CRPG. Ivan: Yes that is very impressive but that does not change the game rules mechanics.
  3. I hope you keep this design philosophy in NWN 2. I very much like this.
  4. If they are completely original rules then I have no problem with them. As far as d20 System not being fun, speak for yourself.
  5. Whatever the "excuse" Obsidian is putting in it simply does not justify the loss of levels due to the very nature of the rules system used. If Obsidian wanted to pull this sort of thing maybe, just maybe, they should have used a different rules system that allowed such things to be possible.
  6. Going by how KotOR handled the Force classes and how the Force classes are like in the Star Wars d20 game, the classes by default are munchkin classes. You can make the game challenging for force users and make everyone else die quickly or balance the game for everyone else and the Jedi will mop the floor. The very nature at the Jedi core is mucnkin gameplay.
  7. They also took the worse aspects, the munchkinized force classes, and increased them threefold. From 3 Munchkin classes we now have 9 with little variance in gameplay. That is most definitely on the road of making the game worse.
  8. No they can't. THE SETTING IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED BY WOTC AND IT IS CONSIDERED DEAD! Man, get with the bloody times.
  9. Game mechanic wise there is nothing DnD in Alternity. Basically DnD and Alternity are parallel of each other then WotC decided to mesh them into one system and that is how the d20 System came about.
  10. As long there is a good game mechanic reason for it as per the rules of Star Wars d20 I say go for it. If not, its just lame. Period.
  11. Does it matter? All the force using classes basically play the same.
  12. But it is not. Majority of the core game mechanics came from Alternity. The d20 System (both Modern and Medieval Fantasy elements) have derivitive work from both Alternity and DnD, but mostly from Alternity. The Flavor text might be DnD, but the mechanics is Alternity. Also, without Chainmail DnD would not have existed. It was the seed idea that made DnD, therefore the roots start there.
  13. There are going to be 3 versions of the X-Box 2 as well.
  14. Obsidian. Bioware makes their games for kiddies and I rather Obsidian keep the helm, though I rather have them do an original game set in an original world using an original rules system.
  15. Sounds uber-lame.
  16. So, you are telling us that a man likes to feel a stick? Sorry, but I don't swing that way.
  17. Buy the freaking strategy guide on the 30th if you want to know this crap so early. Sheesh, some people's children.
  18. Where's the neither option?
  19. What's wrong with Carth? A eunuch has more balls than Carth. <_<
  20. The game was too easy anyway. To make it more challenging I did up the difficulty to max and soloed quite a bit. Still too easy.
