I only count my first time run through as being a viable gameplay time. Once beyond the first run, times naturally will get faster.

I just count the time I am infront of the screen, personally.

Actually I blame Bioware in using the d20 System to begin with when an original rules system would have been better.

That is an excuse for lazy design work. There is no game mechanic for that in the d20 Star Wars system.

Yeah. Also given that in a span of a few weeks, in game time, you become 30th level makes a very much significant threat. It makes you wonder what level your character would be if he actually participated in the War.

That is a toughie and I don't think there is one. I remember a way back when I was transfering my files from Works to Word a while back. The only thing I can think of is to have him go back an use the comp that had Works before and save the files in plain text format (base Notepad file) and then open it with Word. That is the only way I know of without dealing with the reformating problems with ASCII.

So what? We all know its going to be a gushing review with very little substance or useful information. It will just add tot he hype machine and not give those on the fence an adequate look at teh game.

I don't understand why people have so many problems with timers. I mean time just doesn't stand still. Your enemies aren't going to stand still and do nothing while you do your thing. Time needs to be a factor otherwise there sense of danger or foreboding. You might as well have this carefree attitude that you have all the time in the world which is STUPID. The universe is hanging on a thread, but you can take years to finish. Bleh, timers are needed to show that the enemies aren't waiting for you. They are going to find you and kill you.
