I have learned a long time ago that games like this getting spoiled isn't going to ruin my fun. Usually within hours of playing the game I have already figured out the plot and can predict story outcomes with 90% accuracy.

First off what is the big deal over sigs and avatars? As Volourn pointed out, if there is a problem the Mods will deal with it. As for load times, oh boo hoo. I am going to cry over poor buggers still dealing with dial up. Either live with the fact that you are using antique technology and upgrade or shut up abou t it. Dial up is old tech and using old tech has a lot of inconviences. Just because you have old tech doesn't mean the rest of us should suffer for it.

If the story was kickarse, I would.

Envy? Why would I have any sort of envy for a game like Halo 2 because I prefer CRPGs?

If you say so, but take that story line and place it in a game using the old Quake 1 or Doom 1 engine and se how many people would actually play it.

FPS games are all eye candy. That's there function. CRPG is all about story, so graphics are secondary.

Comparing graphics from a CRPG to a FPS is just stupid.

What people seem to forget that X-Box is using OLD TECHNOLOGY and overall well fall short on a few things. One of them will be load times due to a slower CPU, slower drive, and slower harddrive, and so forth. You chosen to go console, live withthe consequence. Sheesh, some people's children.

Again, Craigboy, if you make your sig readable some people just might.

I think everyone knows my reservations about this game. Well, here's hoping for better in future titles.

Maybe, just maybe that was just a test demo screen shot and Obsidian used the old character models to spur on speculation while laughing their collective arses off those who fell for their trick.

Even if there isn't a game like what I describe, that doesn't mean there shouldn't be. Strive for better. Push the envelope and unleash the possibilities.

There is nothing wrong with cross gender role play. I have done it plenty of times over the years as a player and one of my favorite characters is Vici Von Zahn, Cowled Wizard agent of Amn, Fighter/Rogue/Necromancer that used the undead to eliminate and terrorize enemies of the Cowled Ones. I remember this one mission that she was to kill a merchant who had crossed the Cowled Wizards in dealing in "stolen" magic items imported from Thay. SHe killed his entire family and animated them as undead to kill him. Oh the fun that was to be had there. Mind you the Paladin of the group was not amused.

And why would we be doing that?

Enkak, you hit it on the mark, but add in the fact the bad guys are still doing their things and setting their plans into motion. You inaction to stop them or aid them can have dramitc effects on the game.

There is a level cap and it is 20, for this is Star Wars d20. There are no epic levels in Star Wars d20. Period.

So they made the game from bad to worse in regards of leveling. Lovely. Hey, lets just have a level 1000 uber-Jedi and wipe out anything that moves from a parsec away. Oh yes, that makes good sense in the d20 game mehanics.

Even after PC release I am going to wait and see what kind of tech support this game will have.
